LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
i've always wondered about this. he was mentioned a lot when he was in miami, too. jones only made $20M over his ~20yr career, which isn't exactly fuck-you money in the sports world. is he actually like a salaried "employee" of lebron or something? personal assistant (read: bitch)?

They could just be, yaknow...friends. Who like to hang out together. Which is totally fine.

Until Lebron's employer has to pay _amon for being his friend...then it gets a little fucked up.

Yea, I gotta agree here. He is an elite scoring guard. His point skills are not good enough to qualify him, IMO, as a "combo guard".

This team would ideally have a 6'4+ defensive minded PG to pair with him.

So Damon Jones really does follow LeBron everywhere he goes huh? It's actually kind of embarassing.

He has none of the $20m left.

He's a "shooting consultant" to the Cavs and Charge...thanks to lebron.

There are two kinds of people in this world: The kind of people who criticize blowing 20 million dollars on crushed red velvet suits and designer sunglasses, and the kind of people who are wrong.

Whenever LeBron comes back and plays, I think it will be a lot of pressure on him because everyone is looking at him like the "quick fix" and everything will magically be amazing once he comes back.

Sure, it is going to help us a ton, but I'm not sure we are going to be winning so easily as soon as he returns. I think it will still take a little awhile to get turn things around. Plus, LeBron will probably be rusty/tired for the first few games back.

I can already see the panic on this board if we don't play amazing right off the bat when he comes back, but be real. It is still going to take some time.

One person is gonna say trade Lebron Kyrie and Love. To the one guy that does it im gonna find you and kill you

Why pigeon-hole Kyrie into strictly a PG? That isn't maximizing his amazing talents, let's face it, he's an amazingly gifted offensive player but still has a lot of room to improve with regards to making his teammates better. Some of you people act like Kyrie shouldn't forfeit the best part of his game just to be a "point guard". That should not be the case, Kyrie should do what he does best. I agree he needs to work on making his teammates better but he's one of the most gifted scorers in this league, can score from anywhere, and can get anywhere on the court he wants w/ his dribbling ability.

I honestly don't have a problem with it as much as other people, but if that's the case, we need to add another facilitator and play-maker to the roster besides LeBron, and ASAP.

At this point in time.

- Kyrie is a better player with LeBron around

- Love is not as good of a player with LeBron around

Based upon their stats with LeBron out.

Once we start to get things in synch and all three guys make each other and the rest of the team better by being around, then we may have something.

There's nothing wrong with his ability to put the ball in the basket. What people are pointing out is that his playing style prevents the team from advancing and evolving to playing at a higher contender-like level because his style makes it hard for everyone to get involved and get into good ft rhythm on a consistent basis. His style makes the game easier for himself, not for everyone else. No one is saying he should abandon what he does best, but he needs to be able to understand when it's in the team's best interest to go on ISO chucker mode and when to use his scoring ability as a decoy to set easy shots for his teammates.

Hey guys, don't worry. The guy facing me has LeBron on his fantasy team. And if history has proven anything, it's that any player I'm facing has the week of his career.
