Whatever. At the end of the day 400 kids got new bikes, boys club around the country got $2.5m, no laws were broken, and nobody was hurt.

True. But at the same time, Lebron could have achieved all that without being a narcisstic back-stabbing tool.

Perhaps. What drives people toward seeking fame and billions isn't necessarily all that pretty, and their donations certainly don't absolve the means they may have used to earn those billions, but for example I don't see anyone tearing down Carnegie Mellon University because of it.

We've just about gotten to that point where the lebron talk should reach the end. I've engaged in a bunch myself but am more than ready to move on and discuss the Cavaliers and players who are still a part of this team. The lebron situation is major but at this point there's not much more than can be discussed or opinions that can be changed. As long as he, his posse and anyone else around him don't say or do anything stupid or no new info regarding the whole "decision" process comes out it might be best to move forward.

I imagine this sort of thing won't fade much until the new season starts, but the bike-a-thon is over, and LeBron hasn't thanked anyone since, so this thread can be closed.

Most new LeBron-related threads are in Around the NBA; occasionally in Off-Topic.
