Lonzo Ball

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
This bum went like 0-2 in 35 minutes, does he even penetrate? His quick passes aren't doing a damn thing, it's almost like the Lakers are playing a Warrior style offense minus the shooters.

Totally ineffective on offense, minus the YMCA Suns game, he's averaging like 6-4-4 on 27% FG's

Kuzma is outplaying Lonzo . Kuzma is aggressive , attacking the rim , hitting outside shots. Lonzo is doing non of these.

Simmons for Rookie of the Year easily at the moment but very early in season.

What often gets forgotten when teaching shooting technique is the reason for people shooting a similar way is due to accuracy and also the ability to quickly generate an accurate shot. Lonzo's shot is ugly but is also incredibly hard to get off under pressure and it will limit his effectiveness no matter how accurate he becomes

Simmons is a lock. He looks like a generational talent with great feel for the game. That will only improve as things slow down for him.

That being said, I am in Love with Markkanen.

Lonzo is a bust.. He has no chance at all.

He takes wayy too long to square himself for a shot that it's release is already too low. All players that have a low release have a quick release aswell. Lonzo does not.

He can not finish to save his life inside. With his shot he will only be able to finish with a floater or a layup. His midrange shot is going to be impossible with that form off the dribble.

Teams are going to give him the shot in every PnR situation once they scout him enough.. going to be a long season for him.

Lonzo is not a superstar. Sorry.

He’s Ricky Rubio offensively with less flash and handle. Yikes. And bad defensively.

He doesn’t have a good first step or an advanced NBA handle on the ball.

Lonzo is so far from the Jason Kidd comparisons it’s not even funny.

Fultz is now practicing shooting left handed LMFAO

I think when the Lakers look back at it they will kick themselves for drafting emotionally and taking the home town kid over Tatum

When the 76ers look back on it the obscenely stupid trade up to take Fultz... whosh. They might point back to that trade 15 years from now as one of the main reasons they were never able to win a championship

Sam Hinkie would have never done that trade.

And yeah Lonzo, don't you dare insult or demean him. The kid single handedly invented the assist. In a B.L.(before Lonzo) world, there were just passes that sometimes resulted in buckets. In this glorious P.L. world, we know have ASSISTS.

Count them. Count each ASSIST Lonzo racks up.
5 ASSISTS, he's special.
7 ASSISTS, this kid is an ingenue.
10 ASSISTS, how dare you leave him off first team NBA.
13 ASSISTS, cancel the season, the NBA has been redefined and reinvented

Holy shit the Sixers ruined this kid before he even had a chance. Wow.

Watched Lonzo again last night 9 points 3-13, 9 assists. His finishing touch is caca, he attacks and gets blocked immediately. He's come into the league shooting like Anthony Bennett and passing like Lonzo Ball. (I wont disresepct players like Kidd, Rubio, Nash, etc) Lonzo is only himself at passing because he's the only player playing hockey out there. He quick passes to a guy for no reason, simply saying i dont want it, keep it away. Lonzo must've grew up on hot potato everyday.

This thread might look funny in three or four years...

Fultz needs to be shut down 100% until he is healthy with that shoulder. To hell with this shot changing stuff.

The tape I watched of that kid showed me a guy who is the real fucking deal as a ball handler/playmaker and scorer in todays league. He's got a good shot. He was so under control and smooth. He needs to get healthy.

They didn't rush Simmons back and now they're reaping the benefits because he looks like a possible generational talent. Embiid is definitely a generational talent.

Tatum is more ready right now(we kind of always knew this though). And off to a great start with the right coach in the right situation. But ceiling wise Fultz has it in him to be a better player. They need to change course on whatever they're doing to screw him over right now though.
