Kings went an blew it again. If you had taken Doncic there would be a lot of talk that they were the best young core in the league.
 
While Sac miffed once more, I think Luka “fell” to the almost perfect situation for him. Some good role players, Jordan and Barnes are quite good starters with some potentially really good developing youngsters (well Kleber is over 25). Matthews should be replaced with someone a lot smarter. This is the key, you just have to put smart players around him and he will make things happen.

He also has upper class coach and owner. And ex superstar Dirk for guidance.

San Antonio might be even better, but that’s it.

Yeah it would be pretty depressing if he was picked by the Hawks. That's why I want to give Trae Young some slack, but he's making it very hard for me.

There were a lot of potentially good fits IMO...Grizz and Mavs obviously good, and Cavs arguably a good fit pre-Love injury with an owner willing to spend and the prospect of a LeBron return when Luka's entering his prime. Philly at 10 probably had the ammunition to get him if they really wanted to, and that would've been a great spot for him.

Really just had to avoid the PHO-SAC-ATL gauntlet at the top, which he somehow managed to do.
