Madden 2012

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Peyton Hillis out for the rest of the season with a broken sternum...

There goes my whole offense.:chuckles:

I got very drunk last night and was browsing RCF before going to bed. I saw this post and thought I was in the game thread instead of the Madden thread. I about had a heart attack.

What I don't get is why when you switch it to All-Pro it doesn't make it more realistic and harder, it just forces you through more bullshit so the CPU can win.

It's just sad knowing I have a guy literally wide the fuck open ALL BY HIMSELF with NOBODY in the area as in NOT ONE SINGLE DEFENDER and yet it's either an overthrown ball or a defender comes from across the field to knock it down. And this happens literally every time. Considering taking this game back it's even more broken than past years......and damn that's saying something....

Judging by all the complaints in here it looks like it's a good thing I didn't bother with this one.

Anyway, sports games usually have issues through the first month or two of their release while the developers come up with patches to fix the issues. Remains to be seen if EA cares enough to actually patch this game or if they're like Activision and Call of Duty and refuse to fix glaring issues after making their millions.

peyton hillis in my franchise got a broken collarbone, so i used montario hardesty who then got a broken collarbone the next game, when hillis finally returned, he got a broken collarbone again and was out for the rest of the season

benjamin watson was out for half my season, too with a broken jaw

what the fuck is up with these injuries?

No injuries more bogus than NCAA...Braxton Miller would leave the game 3 times a game. 2 for a quarter and 1 for the remainder of the game. So fucking irritating.

Let me explain how stupid this game is online. Okay for one, I'm 12-2. I know how to play and understand the game on both sides of the ball. I so happened to pick the Browns my last game against the Ravens. This dude ran relentlessly the whole entire game. He passed the ball 9 times and went 3-9 with 40 yards. Okay. He had 400 rush yards with Rice, I fuckin' stacked the box, called 46 many times to stop this bullshit run up the middle. Didn't work. If 46 doesnt work then I dont know what would. I blitzed the middle and he fuckin still got every block his way. It was fictionally incredible to say the least. Not to metion the game was super laggy which pissed me of 10 times more. I lost 35-38 on a game winning FG after he went for it many times on 4th down and got lucky. Madden can make you wanna slap a baby sometimes. Jesus help me!

Watson on IR on my first season and Hillis with a broken collarbone as well.

Explain to me how a 250+ lineman can catch Seneca Wallace as he turns the corner and they are chasing him from behind like they run a 3.4 40 or something, game is garbage I say we keep the cover and send the game back for a full refund and then go buy Techmo Bowl

First of all, you sound salty like you just lost online, so I will assume you're exaggerating what really happened.

Second, if the defense didn't have some unrealistic advantages, the game would be ridiculously lopsided towards offense. It would be damn near impossible to stop anything on offense if all player speeds and verticals were completely accurate.

Not really. Makes the game more realistic IMO. I have the speed threshold turned all the way down so speed matters in this game. Seems logical to me.

Also, I doubt he's exaggerating. I find it odd you would call out this post as being exaggerated compared the many before (including mine) which were probably also posted after a bullshit loss or play. I mean, the game sucks....Seneca should always always ALWAYS be able to burn huge D-Lineman when he gets the corner, like what would happen in real life.

Depends on who the D lineman were to be considered BS...

Rented this game (said I wouldn't buy it, but still gotta get my football fix :chuckles:) and started a Browns franchise.

2 observations:

1. Receivers drop the ball at at LEAST a 60-70% clip out there. Ridiculous.
2. I know Cleveland is so GLOOMY and all , but seriously, every game isn't going to be overcast and rainy. Gimme a break.

Haven't played much Madden but I'm doing a RTG on NCAA as a QB... One observation. The defenders make up some ridiculous space. I throw perfectly timed post to a receiver and the safety will run under the receiver and around him to swat the ball. Linebackers do the same thing.. Even better when it's a lineman dropping into coverage. Fucking love it.
