My biggest beef with the film is regarding the last fight between Scott and Kang. No way Scott can take that beating.

Yeah, just saw Ant-Man 3 and it’s easily one of the best movies that the MCU has put out in years.

Not sure why the critics dislike it but literally the only cringey moment was Cassie and MODOK’s lame little exchange towards the end.

Great and beautiful film. CGI was phenomenal.

I stayed spoiler free and was expecting Scott to either die or get trapped in the Quantum realm when that kicked off.

Super hero movies are dying down. Marvel while they elevated them into mainstream has also killed them with telling the same story over and over and over. I’m assuming so I quit watching marvel movies after the avengers, but I’ve seen clips and they’re all the same movie. Nothing last forever though they had a good run. But I want quality over quantity. They have all become stale.

Let's say this is all true and Majors can't be in the films anymore. What happens to the MCU? Change dudes and just call him a variant?

Interesting I wonder... luckily the multiverse is the perfect place for a recasting

Use Terrance Howard and don't even mention it?

It's so cool to have seen the rise, apogee, decline and eventually fall, of an empire in real time.

Regarding the ending of Ant Man 3,
Ant Man should have been killed, or at the very least trapped in the Quantum Realm. For him and Wasp to then be saved 30 seconds later was very deflating
. I think the movie was fine aside from that criticism.

In general, I think the MCU is suffering from a lack of stakes and too many characters. I know it is the comic book way, but they gotta start killing off some of these characters, permanently. It is hard to feel tension at a climax when you know there is no way any of the characters you care about are in any actual danger of death.

I think I'm going to have to go see Guardians 3 next Thursday night. I'm expecting heavy spoiler-type plot points regarding characters who live or die to leak out, and I don't think I can avoid them.

Also this came out. This feels like something that is going to lead to something really sad later on.

Liked Guardians 3 a lot. As always, they did a great job of providing a balance of humor while tugging at your heartstrings.

Satisfying ending to the trilogy with a nice surprise in the end credits.
