Right, but my point was that the Netflix shows are controlled by a different studio that isn't overseen by the same person (Feige) who controls all the movies. That's why we've seen them increasingly move away from events in the films. You'll notice early on that they constantly reference the greater universe. I am re-watching season one of Daredevil and the central plot revolves around rebuilding the city after the events of the first Avengers movie. Now, though, they really don't reference the Marvel movie universe at all in the newest shows. The Netflix shows are basically in their own world.
Also worth noting that Netflix will continue to hold the rights to these characters until they stop renewing shows, so much like what Fox and Sony did with the Marvel properties they owned to maintain the rights, Netflix will likely keep producing the shows as long as it's feasible to do so.
As far as the writing goes, I thought Luke Cage S2 was very good, and I've heard that Iron Fist S2 is a big improvement over the first season, although I haven't watched it yet. Jessica Jones S2 was garbage, though.
