Juice has sauces. He just nailed Shelton last week way before it was announced
Said he was expected to play well before it was announced. He's also nailed several injury related things in the past for the Cavs. He's got the saucesWait what about Shelton
OBJ has the same injury. 6-8 weeks. Why are people upset that we aren't in a rush to damage a player by forcing him to play hurt and not only diminish his impact on the field but risk further injury. Yes it's the NFL and players aren't always at 100% but all of those players don't play. This isn't an UFA fighting for a roster spot. This is the #1 pick in the draft.
He won't see the field until he's fully good to go and that's the way it should be. OBJ and Joey Bosa both missed time to start their rookie seasons. Neither one had a problem making an impact when they came back. Everything we've seen from Myles so far shows he's been as advertised on the field. Chill out.
Just hoping he doesn't have the Derrick Rose syndrome of being too explosive for his own body.
Definitely no reason to rush him back, especially when we're not competing go for the playoffs.
Trying to remain optimistic about the situation, but the fact that he sprained his ankle last year, hurt his foot in camp, sprained his ankle this year, and fractured a growth plate in his foot in HS is at least mildly concerning.
Just hoping he doesn't have the Derrick Rose syndrome of being too explosive for his own body. Maybe he needs Steph Curry's trainer to help him with his foot/ankle issues.
Are we going to ignore that he played on that hurt ankle all season and was still the best player in the draft by far? Like if people are going to be concerned about his injuries how do those people feel about drafting him #1? Unless you didn't want to draft him with the first pick what are you really complaining about? Rushing a player back from injury? That's not a smart thing to do regardless who the player is.
His level of play while playing on that bad ankle was not so good that it warranted him being drafted No. 1 overall. It was his play before he was hurt, coupled with the expectation that he'd be healthy, that made him the No.1.
But if he doesn't getting healthy, or can't stay healthy, then it will have been a blowpick. So it's not a question of wanting to rush him back. It is a concern that perhaps the way he's built makes him predisposed to ankle injuries. And until he manages to play for an extended period without one of those ankles going bad, that concern is legitimate.
