Very impressed with the last few episodes. they are doing a great job of keeping it all moving without huge amounts of exposition

In some ways it reminds me of BSG in the way it not only deals with the same issues but how it allows power to shift in the relationships in a believable way

Doing a rewatch of Justified right now. Good lord, this show just has such fantastic dialogue. Some of the best in any show I've watched, at any rate.

Boyd Crowder remains one of my top five all time TV characters.

Who wrote the code for Maeve? Ford? You figure it had to be him (she helps bring back Bernard, who he needed for his final narrative I suppose), but what did he gain by having her go through all that trouble? I would guess that he was trying to see how far along she was morally by choosing between her child and freedom, but he wasn't going to be around long enough to see the answer.

Breaking Bad wasn't even Breaking Bad good after its first season.

No its just different. it's grade a story telling. the plot is delivered with skill and panache. they have repeating motifs that they use but their meaning changes as you learnore about the story

I'd phrase it more that Breaking Bad is almost The Wire good, as I think The Wire is better. The Shield too. Breaking Bad is number three for me.
