News, Articles, and Random Stuff about LeBron

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The Chicago Bulls don't have the same history as the Cleveland Cavaliers....Chicago sports aren't the laughing stock as is Cleveland sports...Chicago isn't constantly used as the butt of jokes....there was a lot riding on LBJ and the comparison between Rose doing the same thing to the Bulls is not the same. IMO

So true. Chicago fans don't even have the basis to compare their sports woes with Cleveland, IMO. Cleveland lives vicariously through their teams, when in Chicago, I've seen in person people shrug off sports adversity and roll onto the next social escape. No, the Cubs don't count either when every other major sports team has won a championship in the past 25 years. And if D.Rose left the Bulls, it would not have the impact that LBJ's leaving had here. We've been top-dogs in the NBA for the past 4 years while the Bulls still are a middle of the road team having had Rose for a few seasons now. Sorry, Chi, it just is not the same.

I dont get it. I really dont. Race? Are you kidding me? After all this time for reflection, and you pull the douchiest reason possible? You don't call race unless its fucking obvious. Did you wake up to a smoldering T in your backyard, or are you just a giant whiny pussy? I'll guess the latter. Get the fuck out, and realize you're a giant piece of douche. I'm sorry it took this long for me, God knows when you finally get it. Get fucked. Kobe.

You're welcome. dy-no-miiite!

But seriously, if D.Rose would have done the same, I'd get over it. The game, and the franchise are bigger than one person

1.) Let's hold off on the comparison for now, Derrick Rose averaged 21-6, LeBron was a two time MVP who was a 30-7-7 lock for three years running.

2.) If the Cavs had won 6 rings in the 1990's, the letdown of the past two years wouldn't have affected anyone nearly as much as it has. Again, bad comparison.

Tack on the fact he left a team that had back to back 60+ (NBA best) win seasons.

Then the only reason Clevelanders are upset at Art Modell is because he's Jewish.

Charles Barkley is actually white.

Seriously, for those two jackasses to claim that they are victims of race prejudice is a horrible insult to the people in this country who face real racial prejudice that affects their lives. It is also insulting to a man like Bill Russell who was an athlete that actually won championships, wore #6 with pride and class and faced real racial hatred for many years.

I'll watch the Lifetime Movie Channel before I watch anything with that punk on.

I get a sneaky feeling that Jason Whitlock is about to lay into James for the race comment...

Get Bunk and McNulty down to South Beach. It's a bloodbath. Bron column just filed, won't post til AM.

Public speaking, how does it work?

Seriously, LeBron needed to go to college, if not to take PR classes at least. He creates all this himself, then when it blows up in his face, he pulls the race card. Typical for someone who has the mental attitude of a 12 year old spoiled brat.

And really, it always comes down to race? Then where was race a factor when you were winning back to back MVP's, and the entire general public was slobbering all over your grape fruits? Yeah, it goes both ways, asshole.

Rasheed Wallace and Ron Artest both went to college. George Bush went to Yale. College only helps if you want it to help, and most athletes that are superstar athletes aren't there to get an education.

My guess: It won't just be LeBron. He'll go after everyone, that seems to be his MO

EDIT - Or not. I take that back.

JasonWhitlock: Seriously, this is gonna hurt me more than LeBron and Maverick. But caps have to be peeled. These fools false flagging n my neighborhood.

Lebron unsuccessfully pulling the race card is consistent with the rest of his behavior in the off season. I don't understand this guy and why he doesn't just hire a PR person. He really does strike me as a person that has great genes, developed into an athletic freak, but never matured emotionally, socially, or psychologically. He's just a disloyal, opportunistic dunce.

Honestly, because he didn't expect for Delonte to fuck his mother....

No matter how mad I am at him leaving, dude fucked his mom at the wrong place and the wrong time. Eventually, this will all come out.

We don't know that, for one, so let's stop staying it as if its a fact. Secondly, even if it were true, you don't go out and destroy your entire image/brand because of it. It doesn't compute.

Not surprising that Windy says he now believes LeBron was gone long before July 2010. And sounded confident in saying it too.

I think he's loyal. I mean what other excuse could there be for him to continue to employ Maverick Carter after this summer? And to continue to defend Mav's ideas, even after Maverick has been out in public admitting that he fucked up?
