The Chicago Bulls don't have the same history as the Cleveland Cavaliers....Chicago sports aren't the laughing stock as is Cleveland sports...Chicago isn't constantly used as the butt of jokes....there was a lot riding on LBJ and the comparison between Rose doing the same thing to the Bulls is not the same. IMO
So true. Chicago fans don't even have the basis to compare their sports woes with Cleveland, IMO. Cleveland lives vicariously through their teams, when in Chicago, I've seen in person people shrug off sports adversity and roll onto the next social escape. No, the Cubs don't count either when every other major sports team has won a championship in the past 25 years. And if D.Rose left the Bulls, it would not have the impact that LBJ's leaving had here. We've been top-dogs in the NBA for the past 4 years while the Bulls still are a middle of the road team having had Rose for a few seasons now. Sorry, Chi, it just is not the same.
