Hell even if JR can play just play cedi at PG. he’d at least have a size advantage. He’s got experience handling the ball. It could be a good learning experience for him. Anything’s better than Calderon.

Cedi, JR, Lebron, crowder, Love is versatile AF.. just like @King Stannis loves them. We can switch from top to bottom with this lineup.. no need for a rim protector right @Lee ?

Setting me up for a joke, lol.

But the modern NBA is doing this switching defense with 3 or 4 combo forwards thing and its working.

I think rim protector is a misused term. I think length is still important, but team length. In today's nba there are more 3 pointers than ever. That length bothers the shots at the line. You can get away with a small center as long as you have length at other positions like GS has at SF and SG.

It is this reason i still hate IT. I do love Crowder's game but wish he was 2-3 inches taller, then again a taller Crower is a near max contract guy.

Too much. Jackson (i know, way early) is putting up 11ppg, 1reb and 0.3 ast with horrible defense. 1 Rebound, really? Love is an All Star, Osman might be a 6th man one day and the 1st could be decent. Without Love, the 4/5 position would be very thin. If they were to throw in Chandler with those 2 it MIGHT be something to consider, but still no. I think Bledsoe and one of their young bigs for Shump, Frye and Cedi/Zizic or Cle 1st is fair.

I want MF players that can play when it matters...period!

Kevin Love combined averages in 2 nba finals:

12.25 ppg
9 rpg
1.15 apg

I know we're setting the bar high hear, but I would be willing to gamble that JJ & Bledsoe could replace that type of production!

We still have Channing if we absolutely need a one-dimensional floor spacer in a series en route to the finals. And getting rid of Love forces Lue's hand to play Zizic!

Such a bad take.

Love is an elite rebounder, Frye is not. Huge loss there.

Rookies dont contribute much to championship teams. They cant replace an alstar yet.

JJ is a sg/sf and Bledsoe combo guard/pg. They are not replacing Love, they are replacing JR, wade and Rose/it. Their production wont be any better than what they are replacing.

This would be an enourmous net loss trading love to get back Bledsoe/JJ. HUGE met loss.

You disappointed with that post. Top/Bottom, Versatile, Rim protector.. I expected a very clever joke and got a basketball related post? :/

I agree with your post though.

I served it up not on purpose when i mention protecting the rim is about team length. It was there for you too.

Yeah, but I disagree though. I rather have girth than length though. I thought everyone knew that so I was sure it was basketball related.

Now basketball related, trading for Bledsoe is just a stupid move no matter how you look at it. I would trade Love for more length and shooting at the 4 ( Porter), but I wouldn't touch any player that isn't a versatile 3/4 at the very least. I don't need any more small guards at the 1/2.

I’m all for trading love for someone or someone’s who can help us more against GS but that’s not Bledsoe and Jackson. At least not this year. Jackson has a few years before he’s a difference maker against them and by then Lebron will be too old.
