OSU Recruiting Thread

Yeah...if they land Cam Akers, the offense they have in 2 to 3 years might be more talented than the one they threw out there last year...which I thought we'd never see again.

Just to put this into perspective for some people of how historic this class has the potential of being. We now have 6, yes, SIX, 5* recruits in 2017. The next 6 teams, 6 teams, Bama, LSU, Oklahoma, Georgia, ND, Michigan, have a TOTAL of 6 5* recruits.

And we STILL have the opportunity to get:

Okudah - CB, #5 nationally, 65% OSU crystal ball
Akers - RB, #7 nationally, 55% OSU crystal ball (higher than that)
Browning - LB, #8 nationally, Not that high, but still a chance

Okudah is probably almost a lock, Akers is up there, as well.

What a next 3-4 years this could be for the Buckeyes. We are so fortunate.

The kid who decommited because he got a "thank you" note for attending a BBQ he never attended has Michigan reeling. I have a buddy in the program who said he's been at the facility the last 36 hours straight helping with damage control.

I wonder if Michigan got the memo from Wisconsin, who sent this to Clint Copenhaver :chuckle::chuckle:

Well, this is a bit of a sad story... You know damn well Urb told him thanks, but no thanks.

Wow, that sucks.

I mean Meyer lives off the scramble if the QB is in a panic. I mean look at every single QB on our roster/recruit pretty much.

Hope he lands somewhere outside of the B1G and does really well.

Business decision on OSU's part, really.

Kid had a Block O tat, but he never developed into the guy they thought he would.

I think it was pretty mutual. Danny is much more pro-style oriented and I just don't think OSU would ever give him the chance to start over some of the studs they have on deck in 2017-2018. They like their offensive identity and it'd be difficult to alter the train, and develop a system that breaks their tendencies.

Danny will have great options. He's played stellar this year. I could see an FSU, Alabama, UCLA/USC type team playing out. Pro-style system at an elite level program.

I'm pulling for him no matter where he goes. I'm glad Michigan already seems set with McCaffrey. Would hate to see him flip to school up north.

QB room got too crowded, hopefully he doesn't go to Michigan.

He's going to end up at Pitt, Kentucky, Rutgers, Indiana, or Michigan State.
