OSU vs ND ?

As much of a fan as I am for ND, I follow more stuff about the Zips football team than I do for any other team.

Recruiting off-season etc...etc.. I dont know why, but Im always looking around on them.

5pm today. Georgia and FSU are now in after winning last night. I would think this would lock OSU into the BCS, for if you're in the top 4 you're guarenteed an at large, by rule. We were 6 with LSU and VT ahead of us, so we should now be 4...

LOL at VaTech...they were over rated the whole year. Thats the one team I didnt want in a BCS bowl game.

I still dont think Notre Dame and OSU play each other, I think Oregon will get Notre Dame to help Oregon get a good rating game because OSU can carry themselves.

I dont think Oregon vs Penn St is a good match up, ratings wise.

OSU vs PSU is a helluva rematch game.

I am going to predict that we will win this game, ND is overrated as is USC. I could care less if they beat USC, because the Trojans have no defense whatsoever, the only reason they went anywhere is because of Leinart Bush and a mediocre defense. When ND gets a doseage of Hawk they will know their roll and shut their mouths. I never thought in a million years that we'd get ND coming into this season, oh well come Fiesta time we will backhand "Cinderella" and make them look like jackasses for extending Weiss for a decade after like 6 games..

Duh, everyone and their momma has the hugest woody for Notre Dame..the first time in like forever that they have actually been an above .500 team and everyone loves them again. Last year no one gave a rats ass about them and the only player that anyone knew if they knew any was Darius Walker...

The only comparable event like this is the White Sox...they were projected 3rd or 4th in the central and around hmm Julyish everyone was breaking their ankles trying to get on the Chi-Sox bandwagon. Prediction OSU 31 ND 17

but as for the game, Im excited to watch it. Notre Dame is def not over rated. A very good offense vs a very good defense is what this game breaks down to. I dont think OSU has had to play a team with such a potent passing attack and a great game planning coach.

Its pretty hard to say USC is overrated, last years champs, best player by far in the nation. That is a pretty idiotic comment...USC is an amazing team, what they and Texas did this weekend was an obvious statement how good both teams are.

i like this bowl lineup this year. Good games all across the board.

disagree with not facing a potent offense. northwestern is pretty damn explosive, their stats arent that great but thats because they only scored 7 on us. they dont have a qb as good as quinn but they were putting a lot of points on the board.

texas has the best offense in the nation and we played them pretty tough.

the biggest matchup might be between the bucks d and dames o. but dame is not going to stop the bucks offense. we have a huge gain in that respect.

Oh well mac I'm just messing with ya, no need to get defensive, I'm looking forward to it facing Oregon woulda been boring. I just don't think USC is that great, I'm more impressed with Texas since we played them...

I knew of Northwestern and Texas, but potent is a little different.

Meaning that, Notre Dame has two NFL caliber WRs in Stoval and i cant spell his name off the top my head, you know who he is.

They also have a top three ranked TE. One of the best fullbacks in the nation in Powers Neal, and a very good RB in Walker. Also having one of the best QBs in the nation as well.

While those other teams had bits and peices of what Notre Dame has, Notre Dame brings it all to the table.

It will be interesting to watch, win or lose, its gonna be a good game.
