Dallas, Atlanta, Lakers, Philadelphia, Those are the teams that would have any interest of shedding a long term contract to make cap space for next year.

Dallas
Shawn Marion
Brendan Haywood

Atlanta
Josh Smith
Al Horford
Joe Johnson

Lakers
Ron Artest
Pau Gasol
Luke Walton
Steve Blake

76ers
Elton Brand
Igoudala
Thaddeus Young

Now there may be some team that has some people thyey want to reign who they would acquire Jamison for to spread those dollars out . I havent sorted that out yet and my reference guide pre dates the chris paul trade.
Typically in those situations youll have contracts set to expire at the end of the year or next year and a guy with a 9 million plus salary who is already signed for next year or not.. some teams still have amnesties I believe but Most of them will try to make moves before the trade deadline so they dont have to pay the guy at all. Feel fre to point those teams out that i May have missed.

Unfortunately none of these teams have anything but their own draft picks in the first round to include.

Yeah, you can pretty much rule out Atlanta moving any of those 3 guys for Jamison.

Honestly, Ill be shocked if the Cavs can get anything of value for Jamison. The time to move him was last year, and they couldn't get anything done.

Then again, who knows, maybe some team will be desperately looking to move a long-term deal.

Right now the only destination for Twan is with the sharks in the depth of the ocean.

Maybe Charlotte for Diaw and Diop? Diaw expires this year and Diop next year, plus it sheds salary for the Bobcats.

k then we can shut up about trading jamison because the only teams that will take him are teams wanting the expiring to make cap room.

you mean diaw or diop right? I cant see the cavs taking both

But I do have a question for you guys.

What would someone like Popovich do ? I know it is a big what if question because normally HoF coaches don't guide scrub teams, but anyway, would he start TT right away?

I mean, following Casspi in the Kings and now the Cavs, it seems all these young teams in rebuilding mode have these internal politics BS do deal with.

Like "we have this guy who is making 10-15 mil and we got to play him" or "we cannot hurt the veteran's feelings" or some other crap. I am really curious what someone like Pop would do.
Is he going to put up with Jamison putting a horror brick show like yesterday?
I really want to avoid believing Gilbert, Grant and Scott behind closed doors agreed that Twan will help them secure a top pick.

Good question... last year, Pop showed no hesitation in benching RJ when he wasn't playing well. He continued to start him, but he didn't play huge minutes.

I guess when you are not contending and there is no immediate need to win , there is also no clarity in the decision making process and you let Antwan to stand there like a clown and try to break the backboard.

sooo depressing not to be a best of breed...

We would have to take both for salaries to match.

I would be very hesitant on that deal since we gain nothing of value except whatever numbers Diaw puts up, and that's not what we want.

I really hope Jamison catches fire next game and we resign him just to piss you guys off

Oh God, please don't make me watch DeSagana Diop in a Cavs uniform again. It was painful enough the first time.
