Potential destinations for Antawn Jamison

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Trade him to a retirement home for some pudding. Worst case scenario just let him expire and do NOT resign him for even $1 million a year. I would flip out if the FO offers him any kind of extension or contract.

trade him to cska moscow for trajan langdon and russian intelligence

*trade thread disguised as meaningful topic.

or thats there would be worse things than not trading Jamison by the deadline. Even if he is playing well theres a limited market for him

At a desk at ESPN. Seems like a smart enough guy to walk away while he can still . . . walk away.

if we could somehow snag marvin williams from atlanta that would be a decent pick up

Whats the chances of that happening ? slim to none. will be hard to move. No teams the cavs would make a viable trade with are in salary cap trouble and the ones with a high salary will either go with what they have or offer something not particulary worth taking

I don't care. I just really want Jamison off the team. I don't want us to tank perse, but he is going to win us some games if his shot ever gets going and he shoots 43 times a game. At this point I would think it was a miracle if we could get a top 25 pick for Jamison. Maybe some team that is looking to make a big play in FA would want him, like Dallas. Especially if Dallas continues their current level of play.

Dallas traded their pick though... unless they got another one that I'm unaware of.

Random thought: the Nets could be a possible destination for him.

They have expiring contracts in Okur, Kris Humphries, plus a few young players (Damion James, Marshon Brooks, Jordan Williams). If they are trying to show Deron Williams they are trying to win, but secretly just getting Jamison for his contract, we could make a deal.

The only team AJ is going to be on is the "nobody wants me because I suck and make too much money" team. We are stuck with him until the end of the season.

So Atlanta would be receptive to trading Al Horford in a package headlined by Jamison?

Interesting.

Let him chase a ring in Miami Idgaf

Jamison is a terrible fit for a Pat Riley team. If you don't play defense, you don't play at all. If they weren't so poor at center, they probably would never took a chance on Eddy Curry.
