They are looking for an angle to sell guns. And, to make the left look bad. They think everyone should have a gun, ideologically and for profit.

All of those events happened, it's accurate. People are getting stabbed at rallies, there have been a couple of people assassinatrd after someone mistook them as Donald Trump.

I like the NRA. That was a shitty ad.

There have?

Then I'm not really sure why you're challenging me on it.

I think he was questioning if there was a larger issue w/ the NRA or it's messages that you had, or just this acute one you dislike.

Because you've been in the habit of just posting tweets without actually saying anything for awhile. Many people have commented on this. I think a typical response would be "so what?" which is why I specifically asked.

That ad was a listing of factual events and you said you disagreed with it.

Was about to re-edit my above post w/ this. If we assume your message when you don't provide one, we're putting words in your mouth, so he's just looking for those words. :)

I am, never owned one, but my Grandpa used to build them in Mansfield, OH.

Haha I was just teasing cause my parents had one when they were in their late 50's and I told them "You are too young for this car"

not all Oldsmobile's were created Equal.

Where was the NRA on Philandro?

The NRA ceased being a purely gun advocacy organization around the time Heston took over.

At this point they are a mid-to-far Right political organization that focuses on winning votes for the GOP and selling more guns. Hence the ad designed to scare people into buying more weapons. They have been silent now on the shooting of at least a couple black licensed conceal-carry folks. Which is disturbing in its implication of why supporting those particular people wouldn't go over well within the GOP base.

To be fair, I've never seen them talk about a any other conceal-carry folks being shot. Not to say it hasn't happened, just saying it's not like it was far reaching if they did.

However, if that's truly all the NRA is, it should be easy to de-power. Just stop attacking the 2nd amendment.
