Ranking some tall, floor-stretchers

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
You guys are smoking crack if you think Bosh is the player that will make Lebron stop going ISO. The Olympics is not the same at all, he was mainly the PF so he didn't initiate the offense as much, the guards did.

My choices if available would be:

1- Boozer
2,3- Jamison-Murphy I am still torn on this one, I know the general consensus is Jamison, but Murphy is def. the better long range shooter. My main question after watching him last night is can he and Shaq be effective together, Jamison is way more of a low post scorer than I thought.
4- What about just AK47...I know his salary sucks, but if you go back and look at his numbers when he wasn't playing out of position (he is a PF plain and simple), they were pretty good, 15 ppg, 8 rpg, 4apg, 3 BLOCKS per game and 1.5 steals per game. He is a 30% three point shooter for his career, not great, but maybe just enough to spread the floor?? And his defense would be great for when we play the Orlando's and Boston's. Think the Jazz would send us a #1 pick to take him off their hands? AND he would be a 16 million expiring next year, another trade chip at that time. (Z + Parker for AK47 works in the trade checker)

Kevin Martin I am just not sure about. He is a scorer no doubt, but his defense is not that good and he needs the ball a lot to score. Some just look at his # of shots verse points scored and that is misleading, he shoots a ton of free throws which take up possessions also. And he is injury prone. And the fact his team plays better without him is a minor red flag as well.....It would depend what we would have to give up I guess.

Who said anything about the olympics? Bosh can and does create offense for himself at a much higher rate than Boozer, Murphy, Jamison and Amare, he's right on par with Pau in terms of creating his own shots. Like Pau, you can just throw him the ball and say "get a bucket" and he has a very good chance of doing it.

You mean to tell me LeBron won't trust a PF that can create for himself nearly half the time he scores?

What do we have that can get us Kevin Martin? Lets be realistic here!

Even if Le-Iso doesn't go away...Bosh is a guy whose skill-set meshes so perfectly with that type of offense that it might not matter, we're getting a good shot regardless of who's playing defense.

I am all for getting Bosh. I just don't think it will change Lebron's play that much. I could be wrong...I hope if we did make a move, I would be wrong.

Someone had mentioned the Olympics for how Lebron didn't do LeIso, that is why I referenced the Olympics.

Id rather get Chris Kaman. non of these floor stretches play defense and most of them are undersized. how can we match up with KG/Pau? Chris kaman has a jump shot and is quick enough to play the 4 if we go big to match up with bos/la.

and LAC trades him...why?

and if they WERE looking to trade him, they'd trade him for expirings and a prospect they don't need (Hickson)....why?

i like the ak47 idea he has good numbers ang good size. he is a good slasher.realg.com was saying they are willing to trade the knick 1pick with boozer so if we packegd z/jj/west/future1sts for ak/knick 1 might be good enough to pry a top 10 pick from them.
with ak we could finish games with good defense ints/big with mo/bron/ak/varejo/shaq

I want absolutely nothing to do with Kevin Martin. He's got a pretty shitty attitude for being an Ohio boy. Let's just say I had a few choice words with him in HS, and I don't think he's a true man, let alone a winner.

And I can't wait for his boys to read this message and start texting me. Cambridge fucks never let shit end.

so because tough guy X got into an apparent one sided exchange of words with him in high school that means we shouldnt get one of the deadliest shooters in the NBA on our team?

not saying he is a perfect fit but I need some more evidence than a high school run in lol

Did you at least get his autograph?:chuckles:

He runs his mouth, punks out, and flat out gives up on his team when he's being outshined. I doubt anything has changed since HS.

Skills wise he would be a great fit next to LBJ. But my personal opinion of him is very low, and therefore, I don't want him on this team. I think you really need to quit riding my jock every time I make a post. It's getting old George. I apologize for having a rough upbringing and spending time in the military. I suppose if you want to continue calling me an e-thug day in and day out, you can keep doing it. It'll just continue to make me laugh at your doucheness.

Did you at least get his autograph?:chuckles:

Why would I be asking for his autograph when I was too busy raining buckets in his face?

Wait....so an adolescent in high school was an immature punk? I don't believe that for one second!!

hey J.A. who should the cavaliers target at the trade deadline. A PF or a SG and please dont tell me we shoud keep everyone and do nothing.

J.A. Adande (3:10 PM)

I think a skilled power forward. There are rumblings the Hornets would like to move David West. I'd send them Big Z's contract and take on whoever else the Hornets wanted to throw in.
