You guys are smoking crack if you think Bosh is the player that will make Lebron stop going ISO. The Olympics is not the same at all, he was mainly the PF so he didn't initiate the offense as much, the guards did.
My choices if available would be:
1- Boozer
2,3- Jamison-Murphy I am still torn on this one, I know the general consensus is Jamison, but Murphy is def. the better long range shooter. My main question after watching him last night is can he and Shaq be effective together, Jamison is way more of a low post scorer than I thought.
4- What about just AK47...I know his salary sucks, but if you go back and look at his numbers when he wasn't playing out of position (he is a PF plain and simple), they were pretty good, 15 ppg, 8 rpg, 4apg, 3 BLOCKS per game and 1.5 steals per game. He is a 30% three point shooter for his career, not great, but maybe just enough to spread the floor?? And his defense would be great for when we play the Orlando's and Boston's. Think the Jazz would send us a #1 pick to take him off their hands? AND he would be a 16 million expiring next year, another trade chip at that time. (Z + Parker for AK47 works in the trade checker)
Kevin Martin I am just not sure about. He is a scorer no doubt, but his defense is not that good and he needs the ball a lot to score. Some just look at his # of shots verse points scored and that is misleading, he shoots a ton of free throws which take up possessions also. And he is injury prone. And the fact his team plays better without him is a minor red flag as well.....It would depend what we would have to give up I guess.
