Halloween was damn good.

The entire climatic scene is just constant tension for about 20 minutes.

First Man was excellent.

The spy who dumped me. 8/10 it's not a good film but for me it scores highly because it has enough laughs, really decent stunt sets by a european crew and Gillian Anderson

I need help identifying a movie. I watched it like a year ago on Amazon Prime, but I can’t find it now and want to watch it again. I’m gonna give a really shitty half remembered summary of it below

there was a guy that was hired to be a prison psychologist to work with the most troubled patients. The guy wrote a book about psychology and was viewed as a big deal. Guy interviews troubled patients one by one giving little side stories. Guy is pretty aggressive towards the patients and it paints the picture of a guy who doesn’t go by the book to get what he wants.

Fast forward and the guy is actually one of the most troubled patients and him being a renowned psychologist was all in his head. Movie ends with him knocking out a prison guard and walking to continue his psychology act

Shutter Island?

Shutter Island?
No although there are definitely a lot of similarities... I think this was a lower budget film. The lead actor kind of looked like a fat Jack Nicholson (I don’t know many actors so it could be that this guy is actually a well known actor, but to me he’s just fat Jack Nicholson)

Patient 7. After like 5 hours it randomly just came to me. Google was no help at all for this

But if you guys haven’t watched it, i actually enjoyed it and it’s going to be one of the very few movies I watch more than once

That movie has one of the lowest IMDB ratings I've ever seen :chuckle:

Yeah I saw that, but somehow It Follows, which was essentially just an hour and a half of filming human feces gets a perfect score

I thought it was entertaining. Apparently it needed a 20 minute battle scene with a toaster in a high school swimming pool room to really captivate audiences

If anyone is a fan of either of the two The Raid films, you're gonna love The Night Comes For Us on Netfix. A lot of the same guys who made The Raid, including Iko Uwais (who also did fight choreography). Just an amazing bloody martial arts film with almost no story to speak of and fight choreography that puts most western movies to shame. Great 2 hour experience if you have nothing else to do.

Dude, watching first 5 minutes right now....acting is fucking brutal....fat jacks dialogue and emotionless delivery is on point. You really watched this multiple times?

Couldnt get more than 7 minutes in. This is terrible.

I want my money back.
