We landed three recruits in 4 days last week, and now there are reports that three more could be coming in the next day or two.

Reports are saying this guy has already committed, but it hasn't been made official quite yet:

He's listed with just One star, but he's a juco. Jucos are usually one or zero stars. He has offers from Michigan, Michigan State, and Washington, so he's probably legit.

Speaking of jucos, reports are saying this kid visited C-bus this weekend, and if offered he will commit:

Let's see: 5 stars, position of need, and runs 4.45 at 225 lbs!!!! Can you say  Offer this kid immediately!

Also, Browning took his last visit to Tennessee this weekend, and is to decide in the next day or two:

Three stars with offers from Tennessee and basically the entire big ten. We only have one OL in this class, and lose three seniors. This would be a big get. In more ways than one, actually since he's 328 lbs. :) Anyway, he's from Glenville, so by law he must go to OSU, right?

how did i know that he was going to come from san fransico comunity college. that school is stacked with talent. michael vick was going to go their because of his grades but he ended up going to VA Tech.

san fran just creams every comunity college in the sac area.

I guess this kid visited this weekend and is supposed to decide soon:

Apparently he had verbaled to Iowa, and then for whatever reason he's not so sure any more. HE called tOSU and asked if they were still interested and if he could visit. On Rivals he's been removed as one of Iowa's commitments. Sounds like we have a good shot.

He's just 3 stars, but with 4.4 speed and offers from most of the Big Ten, he's probably one we want.

We just picked up a stud fb: http://ohiostate.scout.com/2/490223.html
Just two stars, but that's b/c he's a FB. Recruiting rankings are kind of like the nfl draft, in that FBs, interior OL, and kickers aren't rated as highly. All you need to know is his other offers were Auburn, Alabama, and FSU. Pair this up with Chris Wells, the #1 prospect overall in the nation, and our backfield should be set for the next few years.

An update on Grant, the 5 star juco from SFCC. He will be visiting this weekend. Stay tuned.

Im a Michigan fan and we just picked up the #1 Fullback in the nation Brandon Minor.....btw the Kid Gant you got sucks and he will never be a player for you guys....I like your class so far but the 2 guiys that came down to Michigan and Ohio ST you guys won and I couldnt be happier because Gant and Dexter Larimore both suck....I love the glenville kids you got though as well as Chris Wells...that kid is a stud and i think will be a major player in any run you make a a national title......just so you know im a huge recruiting geek and I will soon be attending some kind of class for that problem

I'm sure they do. Which is why UM, MSU, and Washington offered Gant, and the entire Big Ten offered Larimore.

this is what you call a hater

Any talk of Michigan is not tolerated here at RCF...the maise and blue are on the same level as the Bulls of the 90's the Bronco's of the late 80's and the White Sox of today..

thats why we slow played the hell out of Gant while we are waiting on Jonas Mouton....and we offered Larimore because we are thin at DT.....trust me brother no one is crying over losing those 2 guys....and I am not hating maybe on those 2 guys but after that if you read what I said I really like most of your class and especially Wells, I wouldnt consider that hating....im not a homer I can reckognize talent when I see it and I dont see it in those 2 but the rest of your class looks really good......dont let those Scarlet colored glasses shade you from the truth boys :chuckles:

Don't let the maise tinted piss running down your leg indicate any fear of the Buckeyes :chuckles:

While the UM coaches may not be crying that they didn't get those kids, it doesn't mean that they didn't want them. Obviously they did, or they wouldn't of offered them. Lloyd Carr has won several conference titles and a split national title. JT has won a couple Big Ten titles and five national titles. They didn't do this by offering scholorships to kids that didn't have talent. You may not see the talent in those kids, but Jim and Lloyd obviously did. I trust their opinions more than yours, sorry!

And my glasses shading me from the truth? Did not those schools I mentioned in fact offer the kids we're talking about? Every word I typed was the truth.

easy fellas....again im not knocking your class....i personally would rather have the kids we have/are aiming for then Gant and Larimore....as ive stated before the reasons they got offers was purely depth issues.... if your happy with the 2 star Gant then im glad....but if your knocking me for wanting the 4 star Jonas Mouton over the 2 star Gant (who had offers from you us and washington) or the 4 star Jason Kates or the 4 star Marques Slocum that we already have rather than 6 foot 2 260 lbs dt Dexter Larimore(who had offers from Indy us you and purdue who wanted him to play offenseive line)well then im not sure what to tell you.....once again you have a nice class but those 2 kids arent heading up anybody's must have list and me llyod or tressel can tell you that so chill out

Just as you are happy with the kids you're getting, I'm happy with the kids we're getting. If you were unhappy every time a kid your program wanted got away, like Gant and Larimore, then recruiting wouldn't be any fun to follow. What I disagree with is your opinion that Larimore and Gant suck and have no talent. Kids that suck and have no talent don't get offered scholorships at OSU and UM, depth issues or no. Making such statements after your school lost out on them makes you look like you're ignorant, bitter, or a hater. Whether or not that is true, that's how it looks.
