we will only get him if portland doesn't offer raef lafrentz for him, because his expiring will get paid mostly by insurance so they would probably prefer that...

He maybe softer than charmin, but he's a mammoth upgrade over Wally. If we can't get Camby or any other big men from the Clippers or Suns... then I just don't like the rest of the potential big men that might be available on the trading block. Maybe after the deadline there will be a PF/C who gets bought out we could bring in.

Unless the Wizards are legitimately willing to deal with us (which I doubt), this is the best we could probably get for Wally straight up in my opinion.

Another update...seems like whichever trade (VC or Jefferson) the Blazers can get worked out first is the one they'll go after. Personally, we should hope its Carter and Jefferson falls to us.

basically if POR takes Carter, cavs have a chance at Jefferson. Otherwise they do not. Cavs are in great positon, they're not going to give up talent unless its a bona fide top tier guy.

Something else to note...I noticed in one of Windy's latest articles he mentioned something about people emailing him about Villaneuva's availability. He said he had no clue, but that he and Bron used to be pretty tight.

I wonder what it would take to get RJ/Villa to Cleveland. I like the idea, but certainly not if we'd have to give back JJ or AV. Just a thought. I really think it would probably take one of those two bigs, but I can dream can't I? Isn't he a free agent after the year? Maybe they don't think they can resign him? I'm just throwing things out here.
