Portland's trade for VC cannot come soon enough. First, it leaves us as the best suitor for RJ. Second, it let's us make one last call to Mr. $arver to see if Amare is still at all available.

Not worried about the Celtics, we handled their fronline when we played them..

Agree on the Lakers, but don't forget, if Delonte's healthy, he guards Kobe, leaving LeBron on Odom, which isn't bad

But, we absolutely cannot force a trade.. we cannot trade for a big man just because.. I'd rather stand pat than make a bad deal

If we can't get a big then you definetly do his without hesitation

But if Portlan d is offering Outlaw too we might need to put in hickson which I don't want to do if we aren't getting a big. Now RJ/Charlie V for Wally/Hickson/ and picks would be nice

Hopefully New Jersey accepts thethat deal though

It's going to be so nice when some team finally settles for Portland's offers. I mean come on, can we stop hearing about their trade scenarios already? Every single trade we take a shot at - Portland gets in and offers the same guys every time. I'm just dying for a team to bite and take it.

The only good thing is they'll be on the phone with either New Jersey or Milwaukee - and hopefully the other will get on the phone with us and accept whatever we're offering.

1.) The Celtics' frontline will not abuse us, ever.
2.) We might have some trouble with the Lakers' bigmen with Bynum, but since Bynum is likely not back, it makes getting a bigman less important. Yes, Odom tore us apart, but that was because we didn't have Delonte. If Delonte is healthy, he covers Kobe while LeBron matches up with Odom. Problem solved.

Just my thought...

Also that manslughter in the inside didn't start till Sasha got hurt. It forced Lebron to guard Kobe and Hickson or Andy to guard Odom and it killed us. So getting West back will help on the boards more than you think
 
I wouldn't mind RJ at all. Big upgrade over Wally, and young enough to be a core piece. Appearently, Chris Sheridan said on ESPN radio that Portland is focusing solely on VC now; so that may help our chances of landing RJ.
 
Richard Jefferson has always been underrated in my eyes. I'm not stating this because we're linked to him. I've always been a fan of his and was hoping we'd have a chance to get him.

Not only does RJ play good defense, but he can guard the same players LeBron can.

RJ would be a magnificent pick up, if he is available and we can get him.
 
He would be pefect for us because he can shoot, defend, and slash. A perfect sub for Lebron. This would make us even better when we go small. PLEASE HAPPEN!

Ps-When Wally would get bought out would we sign him?
