People have a weird obsession with a couple of inches. He has a standing reach of 8’7”. As a comparison, K Love has a standing reach of 8’10”.

The definition of small ball is that the players are smaller than usual for the position.

Because it matters.

And who is saying KLove has good length? What on Earth.


The fact is that Hood has solid, not great size for his position. Not sure why it's gotta turn into a big argument lol. And he's not playing SG, Korver is.

The point is he could clearly play the 4 in spurts. The good news is the entire argument is academic because there’s absolutely no reason to play him at the 4 with this team.

I expected a nice jump shot (and it's beautiful), but Hood looks a lot better than I thought off the bounce. He was beating guys off screens and had some really nice finishes in traffic.

Love you JR, but this guy is our best option at SG now and going forward.

Could use some shot creation off the bench... I think he fits well there right now. I'm all for him getting more mins than JR though. Curious to watch Hood's defense closely.

He conceded a few easy one's late but simply not being terrible while being extremely talented on offense is night and day compared the guys who got traded. I was surprised to see that his listed wingspan doesn't match what I'm watching (height 6'8" wingspan 6'8.5") or maybe he's his thin built his confusing me but people who think he's just a shooter will be surprised. Just hope he stays healthy because that has been the biggest knock on him.

I see more Joe Johnson to his game he has handles/passing but has mainly been used as a catch and shoot player like Joe was early in his career. He could run the offense if need be and shock a lot of people.

He's 6'8.5" with a 6'8.5" wingspan.

He just looks so lanky I get mistaken he has length lmao.

Iso Joe was money from the post though.

He played a lot at 2 and would often post-up the smaller twos and get buckets easily.
