Here is the thing, we are only two games out. But the goal this year is to try to get back to the World Series and win a title. That is why they spent big money this off season, .500 ball this late into the year I am sure is very surprising to the organiztion. But there is enough talent on offense to finish 16 to 18 games over .500 and win this division. It is time to start showing it. I think we need to add a starting pitcher at the deadline. The hitting coach needs to start earning his money. There are way to many at bats with poor approaches, and it is not April anymore. The talent is there, so let's see it.

I find it a little humorous that the same people who told everybody to pump their breaks when they were talking about 100 wins, and running away with the division are now the same ones who have to defend the team when they've struggled out of the gate.

Yeah, it stinks that things haven't come together yet. But, I think we're all smart enough to see that the talent is there across the board. I know it pisses people off when we say this, but this is baseball. Their inconsistencies and struggles are not a sign of a deeper problem. It's just a sport where small differences create larger variances.

This is a 90-92 win team as constructed, but injuries and luck can take that probably 8-10 wins in either direction.

It's absurd how dumb people remain, year in and year out with regards to how long the baseball season truly is.

Ok, serious question for you then. This team wants to win a ring which means they will need to beat great teams on the way. If they win this dogshit division by a pube, you're excited about their chances to win the World Series?
