Situation to watch: Minnesota T'Wolves

Love wants to go to the Lakers.... Why? Besides it being Los Angeles... There is nothing attractive about the Lakers or their roster?

They just speculate that because he played college ball there.

Aside from that, most of that speculation originated a few years ago when the Lakers were good. Now that they're a shit-show he may have other destinations in mind.

you do whatever you can do to get Love... where KG's stats empty when he was wasting away in Minny... Love plays basketball the right way and he plays it hard... adding him to Kyrie and a guy like Deng would make us a team that make it to the 2nd rd this year IMO even why we are still gelling... I'd dangle anyone except Irving and Deng for Love. If the Cavaliers found a way to get Love here LeBron would be on his way back this summer.

Hell yes you do that trade every day of the week and twice on Sundays. That's not all that much to give up for a guy like Love.

That Is what I am saying then you can build the bench AKA Heat style and run with It. I would give anything and everything fixable to make this happen. This reminds me A lot like the KG Wolves situation Please let Us be the next 2k Celtics!!!

I think it would be tough to get the Wolves to move Love this season without getting both Tristin and Dion, along with a bunch of picks. After this seasons, things should loosen up, but that also allows more teams to get involved.

Would anyone be willing to swap Kyrie for Love while keeping Tristin and Dion? That would open up more scoring options for Dion, which he seems to desperately want.

I wouldn't, but wanted to float it out there to see if anyone else had a different opinion. I feel like I could be talked into that trade even though I think it's a terrible idea.

NO one would argue tho that KG was a one way player. Kevin Love's struggles with D are well known.

Pretty much you can only trade Kyrie if you get a player with a lot of team control. If he won't take a 5 year extension you look to move him at that point. I guess you can move him for someone in this year's draft or Klay Thompson and some stuff(pretty much the only guy in last few drafts that is decent and available )

I'm sorry. I love that gif so much that I had to use it.
There's no way I could get talked into an older player (Love) for a younger player (Kyrie). Four years may not seem like a lot, but I think it is in NBA lifetimes. If you're wanting a post-scoring PF/C, then just start up the tank and take one in the draft. Yes, neither Kyrie or Love play D really well but I'm still 100% positive I'm more inclined to build around Kyrie and not open up shots for Dion by swapping KI for Love. No thanks. Nice try though.
