So Long, Mo Gotti Williams

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Yea, cause Dan isn't going to see a single cent of increased revenue or franchise value after winning a title :chuckle::chuckle:

Demand for tickets is going to go up. Demand for merch is going to go up. People watching the games on FSO is going to go up, thus the demand to advertise on FSO is going to go up. Meaning they'll be charging more for all of those things. Dan is going to make a lot of money off of this title. Yea, he could have afforded it in this "financial universe."

I actually agree. It's just that every point of every side has been beaten to death and it ain't going to bring our Australian pitbull back. People are pissed about not having a point guard to make Kyrie fresh for the playoffs when Griffin isn't even done make moves. We're falling into the "there's always next year" mentality again. Give him half a season if he failed on that front, every criticism for not keeping a young solid smart PG sharpshooter is warranted by then.

He's implying he's rubbing in that he hasn't officially retired yet with the fact that his surgery will make recovery longer. Then he'll be able to find out if he still wants to play.

Idk. Idc.

If Mo wants to fuck over our team in some capacity, cool

Vardon's latest on Mo:

Mo Williams underwent surgery on his sore left knee Wednesday in New York.

Why does this matter to the Cavs? Because he's still on their roster.

Though Williams informed Cleveland on Sept. 26, the day players were due in Independence for the start of training camp, that he would not return to the team this season, he didn't file retirement papers with the NBA.

That Williams never formally retired was expected -- had he filed those papers, he'd get nothing of the $2.2 million left on his contract. But having surgery while still under contract with the Cavs thickens the plot a bit.

The Cavs would still prefer, and are pursuing, a buyout of Williams' contract for less than the full amount. They could also try to trade him, but, when Williams posted to both Twitter and Instagram Wednesday that he was having surgery, 29 other teams have more reason to steer clear of him.

So, we've still got two guys we need to get resolved (hopefully) before the regular season opens -- JR Smith and Mo Williams.

Love you Mo, and I hope you get paid, but we really need that 15th roster spot open for another player.
