Sports Gambling Now Legal in Ohio

I'm enjoying all this free gambling money the apps are throwing our way. Think I've gotten $250 so far from Fanduel. I've only used like $75 of it so far. My two bets yesterday failed. Got a parlay for tonight's Mavs-Celtics game so we'll see. Once the free money runs dry, don't think I'll be doing much more of it. It's pretty fun -- I can see why some people would get addicted to it.

That’s what I’m doing. Its fun but I’m pretty frugal with money anymore, and even with the free money I find myself staring at my bets for 20 minutes before placing.

Not my jam really, but even after the well runs dry I think I may keep one of the apps probably FD) and throw down some coins here and there for shits and giggles.

There are apps where you can "practice". I recommend doing that first. The Action Network allows you to "track" the bets you make, so for fun I would put in the bets I would have made for real money. Good way to get the hang of it before throwing real cash in.

I won $1200 with my $200 free bet the night Spida dropped 71.

Haven't put a dime in yet and if I wittle down $1200 in winnings to absolutely nothing and I have to put my own money in, then I'm done, because that means I suck and/or shouldn't be gambling.

Scum lord grifter Portnoy really figured out how to drive me nuts.

Gave me free $50-> I win my $50 bet-> I make two more bets-> win my bets. Can’t withdraw. (The app sucks, don’t wanna play on there) so I talk to support and they tell me I have to playthru 1x my bonus. But if I already risked the $50 multiple times, how have I not met the requirements? I say that to support and they tell me I have to play thru 1x my bonus. Terrible support, terrible app. Portnoy sucks. I mean it’s $189 I don’t really care but just feels like I’m gambling with fake money on there. Took my money off MGM (was easier, hated the app). Fanduel and DK I haven’t had a problem

Never even installed Barstool.

Installed MGM, DraftKings, Caesars and FanDuel.

FanDuel has been the best for me, by a pretty wide margin. Both the free money and a quality app.

DraftKings has been in second place.

MGM gives some nice freebies, but their app is hot garbage. It's a bunch of poorly coded webpages and is a pain in the ass to use.

Caesars hasn't had any appealing free bets so I haven't played on it.

Totally agree on Barstool. Their bonuses weren't great. Their promoted parlays aren't close to worth it.

I've found Draftkings and MGM to be better. MGM's app is a little slow. Draftkings' app has had no issues and they're good at getting you hooked with all of their boosted odds.

I've had the best experience with FanDuel. Second the comment about MGM's app to be pretty awful. Slow to load and was a little glitchy. The referral code never worked for me.

I’m up to around $600 after putting in about $45 of my own money. Hit a few nba parlays last night. Got a bunch of NFL bets this weekend, really riding the Chiefs today so we’ll see if I can make a little more before the free money dries up.

Once you put in whatever the deposit is...

I think you get $200 in free bets after your first bet.

Plus they've had multiple freebies, like "+100 odds for the Bengals to score a point" or "+100 odds for Ohio State to score a point against Purdue"
