Clipper owner Donald Sterling on the phone telling his girlfriend not to bring black people to his game and much more than that. Normally wouldn't trust TMZ as a source, but they have an actual recording this time. What a sick fuck. Really curious as to what the repercussions will be from this.

Nothing can be done really. Even if they forced him to sell the team he'd come out several hundred million dollars wealthier considering the value of the team has gone up significantly the last couple years. Stupid yes, but don't expect the league to do anything other than maybe apologize and do some PSAs or something.

Silver really can't out sterling unless he had the support of the 29 other owners and even then it would be a very slippery slope. But if Cuban can get fined millions for criticizing refs... The fine has to be close to seven figures.

On a serious note:

I doubt the NBA can do anything about this; the owners are the most protected class in sports. This is why you have so many of them being aforementioned flaming pieces of shit.

Why is he so racist, yet his livelihood depends on the labor of so many black people and his "girlfriend" is a woman of color? This is 'MURRICA. Wouldn't be 'MURRICA without the whole "white power" dynamic (I mean, this dillweed changed his last name for "business" purposes). Logic doesn't matter to these people; power and exploitation do.

Power (in this case, granted by money) sucks the humanity out of humans; to these folks, other humans are mere commodities. the girlfriend, the guys on the team, co-workers, etc. He does what he wants because he is never ever made to be held accountable.

Donald Sterling is a minstrel of racism -- he exists so that those who are more discreet about their abuses of power can point the finger and absolve themselves. Nothing more, nothing less.
So yeah, fuck Sterling in the goat ass-- he's a piece of reconstituted dessicated donkey dung and anyone who willingly associates with him on a personal level should be ashamed of themselves.
