Texans' Record Watch

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'm about to Takkarist McKinley the tank...

You see this tank here? I made a promise to this tank, man. I promised I'd cheer for the Browns to lose until they had some fucking assets, man. And I kept my promise. Fine me, fuck it, go ahead and fine me. I told this tank I was going to live my dream and the Browns would have some talent. Then thirty seconds after we drafted Legatron, this tank died. This is what we did it for, man. Get to the quarterback!

I feel pretty good about a team that will be starting a scrambling rookie QB with a collection of nobodies behind him.

Jacksonville - Toss Up
@Cinci - Win
@New England - Loss
Titans - Toss Up
Chiefs - Loss
Browns - Win
@seahawks - Loss
Colts - Toss Up

The first 8 games could swing their record from 9-7 to 7-9 / 6-10 IMO.

Browns need the Texans to lose 2 of the 3 Toss Up games IMO.

If they win 2 of 3 or all 3, then I think they're likely headed to a winning record.

Not a tank. Self-Propelled Arty.

From the article:

The Texans still have veteran Chris Clark under contract, but in Newton’s stead last season, Clark rated as Pro Football Focus’ sixth-worst full-time tackle last season. Houston drafted Bucknell tackle Julien Davenport in the fourth round, but the small-school product profiles as more of a project than a player who could conceivably contribute quickly.

:rock::rock::rock:

He was out all last season as well and they still made the playoffs. Did they lose any major FA on oline or other positions?

Bouye, their best CB. John Simon, 3rd pass rusher.

They lost Bouye (the big one), Demps at safety, Simon at LB, and Wilfork on the interior off the the top of my head. How big of a loss Wilfork is remains to be seen as I don't think he graded very well.. In FA they have signed nobody of note. Basically just re-signed their K, P, and a back up TE.

Duane Brown is an above average LT. Their starting C last year, Greg Mancz had a pretty good season but will likely lose his starting position to Nick Martin, who missed all of last year. Nick is the brother of Cowboys' Zach Martin and was a 2nd round pick last year.

The rest of their line is below average to bad.

No, I don't. Is it hiding behind that M109A6 Self-Propelled Howitzer?

If not, I suppose that means the damned Texans don't even know what a tank is, so we'll be drafting 28th or so.

Dammit.

Hopefully, the absence of Duane Brown hurts.
