Dog is perfectly behaved outside dog park.

On dog park, immediately steals ball and will never drop it. I look like an ass hole until I start chasing her and everyone sees she's a thousand times faster and I have no chance

How do I get her to fucking drop it? She isolates herself when she gets a ball and doesn't play with anyone

Start with a clicker, treats, and training the dog to obey vocal commands.

Only thing that might work is treats.

She's smart as shit though, I see her getting the treat and stealing someone else's ball upon swallowing

take a coupe of volley blalls and throw them at her when she takes off. or just goto the dollar store and and have back up balls

forget the training stuff that's to much effort.

More balls doesn't fix it.

She doesn't get distracted by anther one, she knows why you're throwing it.. You want hers.. And ultimately the problem is she doesn't interact with other dogs or people when she has one.

I'd be quicker to throw away all the balls rather than get more

Muzzle it.

I would like to see a sequel to the song " at the car wash" transformed into "at the dog park"

My dog acts like a shit head at dog parks, but is fine at off leash parks. She literally starts marking and gets super territorial. Needless to say, we stopped going after it got to the point where we were worried a fight might break out. She also has problems with separation anxiety, so wouldn't even leave our side to play with the dogs anyways (which is completely different at an off leash where she will gladly explore off the trail we are walking).

I guess my point is that I think some dogs get all fucked up at dog parks and you might need to just explore other options. Also, she loves playing keep-away with a ball, but she will come when called and drop it when we are forceful. Did you ever do any kind of obedience classes?

We're going to pick up a Great Pyrenees that was found. The local rescue called us and asked us to foster it for a couple of days because they are full.

So for a couple days we will have 4 Great Pyrenees fluff balls in our home. This one is about as old as our pup, so he should find a home pretty fast.
