In my opinion we should allow any type of NBA fan here but delete all non-Cavs avatars/signatures. While it's cool to get other perspectives, this is REALCAVSFANS and if you aren't one than you should have less rights lqtm.

But really, I don't have anything personally against you but I don't see a point in keeping any of you around. You're obviously better than the trolls, but since you are an "outed" Lakers fan I just can't stand seeing your posts.

It's mostly the Kobe and Larry O'Brien related avatars that get to me. I see you post and try to be civil, but at the same time display something that is a slap in the face IMO. The worst is when one of you (yes, I said "one of you") act like there is a dream scenario for your team or a trade or a new star you are waiting for, (ex. somebody mentioned dreaming they could have Durant after Kobe retires) and I wanted to reach through the computer screen and choke you because you have so much as a fan and still want more. It's disgusting.

Look, I don't have a problem with your posts, but the way you can subconsciously insult us is pretty much unbearable and I'd like it off the site. My suggestion would be to go avatar/sigless and just post your perspective as you have.

It's kinda like James, the Celtics fan. I don't know him, haven't even gotten to know him on an internet level. But he used to have the Celtic's Larry O'Brien plastered all over his posts and it pissed me off every damn time.

LOL That was me I never thought that would piss anyone off. It was mostly a joke, that does have some truth because who wouldn't want to finish off an era with one great player passing it to another? I apologize for making you angry :runs:

The name of the site is Real CAVS Fans.com, If it was set up to be a general NBA forum, it would be called RealGM.

I don't mind a little perspective, but the site is for Cavs fans, not Lakers fans.

Many Laker fans will be obsessed with LeBron. Lakers won the championship this year and instead of talking about Kobe's fourth, many of them were talking about LeBron's o instead. That's just something I don't get. Your squad just won the title and you're talking about something else?

I think many of them can't get over Bean losing the leagues best player title. That's why every other post in their General NBA Forum Section is about LeBron.

Like Granny said, If you talk bad about someone, it's either (1) envy, (2) jealous, (3) you love them or (4) you want them dead .......

Anyways, when you're a champion, think of it as an exclusive pass into a club or a bigger amount of rights when you're a senior in high school. You get to do and say more things and nobody can stop you. Once the Cavs actually get theirs, not even Laker fans can tell us off and say we suck. Because they couldn't stop us.

Some outside fans just come in at the wrong time. Specifically, the Magic fans who came here in the middle of the series or even right after. Anyone with any sense would want to avoid that, good will or not.

Sometimes, even fans of a team that's not one that just stomped us come in, but we already put up our own wine and gold defensive wall and refuse to accept others have legitimate opinions, too.

That being said, if you want to come on here and call Cavs' fans homers, even if you are one, then go ahead. I'm a homer. You might say I'm a homersexual. That I love the Cavs and that some people won't accept that in public, in church, or anywhere. It's easy to act like a homer when you're on a team-specific site where, though perspectives are diverse, the general consensus is: GO CAVS.

Yep. I agree with you whole-heartedly.

But... I'm not going to care in a thousand years, because of feeling of having won it all surpasses any negativity directed towards our team.

I wish all of you could share that same feeling, and many of you will. Don't let the Laker fanboy/homeboys get to you. Sooner or later, intelligence will out-number those who can only see in rose-colored glasses, and we're all in a place where intelligence is dominant (and banning people is a big reason for that). Don't let stupidity get to you.

3.) No player won a title by themselves
4.) Fix it for a "small" market team???

Those are the answers I would give. And Kobe. Eh I don't hate him as a BBall player. I just don't think he compares to Jordan. Kobe the person I cannot stand...

I didn't want to name names but I remember it was you. I knew you didn't mean harm, but everybody here is always dreaming for a star to join LeBron so we can FINALLY win a championship and it killed me a little inside to see that a fan that has actually seen what the "best of times" are like feels the same way.

It just seemed for greedy, kinda like New Yorkers who have the rich as fuck Yankees, and the recent Super Bowl champ Giants to hang their hat on and still beg for LeBron to save their poor Knicks.

Obviously, you know it's nothing personal and I don't hate your presence, it's just there are things that come with your presence like those types of comments and celebrity avis/sig that ruin my visit to the site.

There are no douche bag Laker fans that last long here, but that doesn't make them any less of Laker fans.

Yes, because this is OUR site and we have nothing to show each other. Why on Earth would you come to a site hoping to talk to other championship starved fans that believe in this team as much as you do only to see some Laker fan flashing the Larry O'Brien? I hate it. I don't hate the posters personally, it's just things that come with their presence. It deserves censorship IMO. This is Real Cavs Fans and while other perspectives are nice, I don't need anything rubbed in.
