From my prospective, which was in a bar, but still... the Lakers got all of the calls down the stretch. BS foul on Durant pushing off on Gasol with the Thunder down 2. Then on the other end, a weak ass call to give the Lakers 2 FTs.

Basically all this tells me is that the Lakers are not that good, and Durant is not one of the 10 best players in the league. I don't care about 30+ points. He either shoots or commits a TO. I would LOVE to see the Thunder in the Finals. All we would have to do is puy LeBron on Westbrook, and trap Durant every time he got the ball. Game over. Win by 30.

I'm a logical Lakers fan as well. You seem to be more on the cynical side of logic. I can see 7 games but I see closer to a sweep (5 games). If Kobe doesn't keep missing 60% of his shots then it should be closer to 5. But we'll see how he holds up.

Are you Aziz Ansari? Or related? :chuckles: Seriously, I know he lives in LA now. Are you a fan? His 1 hour comedy show on Comedy Central was great! He seems to fit the stereotypical LA mindset, so I could hang out with him for the laughs, but I probably couldn't stand his personality after a while. I don't dig the superficial celebrity stuff.

Are most "real, long-term" Laker fans like most LA people in general, or are they more "down to Earth," whatever that means?
 
They basically see the game, as most fans do, that their squad always gets the short end of the stick. LeBron has a home built on the free throw line and if he doesnt get a call, many Cav fans will go crazy........

Same for Bean. People think he should go to the line after shooting a shitload of jump shots. That's just not the case. In any event, the two constants are that (1) the refs are against your team and (2) Stern is pulling the trigger.
 
Ebanks looks like Trevor Ariza. Hopefully he can play somewhat close to him ......... gettin' ready for this summer league in Hot Vegas
 
With this super team assembled, I honestly think the Lakers are the only team that have a shot at beating them. I hope we teach those three fuckers a lesson...not only for the 3peat but to show Lebron that being a fucking traitor doesn't mean a championship....I hope to fucking God that Gasol and Kobe just come out with a fucking fire this upcoming season....The last thing Cleveland fans want is to see LA win another title...but I think you'd rather see Lebron lose just a little more...

orlando definitely can do it too, heat wont have anyone to keep dwight from raping them except for foul trouble

Dwight still has no consistency in his offensive game...Stay on the shooters and make Dwight create offense for himself. I agree with you though if Dwight somehow makes a dramatic improvement in his offensive game this off-season.
