going tobe a great series....... most Laker fans, or what I call them, Kobe first fans, are cocky as ever. Sounding as if the Lakers are just gonna sweept these kids who really have no pressure on them at all.

All the pressure is on the Lakers. Not some, not most but all. If they win, they were supposed to. If they lose, a big upset. Thunder's case: if they win, more experience and they just slayed the top dog. If they lose, learning experience and they're young.

I got the Lakers winning this series but it will not be as easy as most people think it will be.

Man, I would kill to have Morrison's college career stroll into our every day rotation. After crying after that tournament loss, it was all downhill from there.

After crying after that tournament loss, it was all downhill from there.

That should have been the tip-off. I'm all for showing passion in a competitive sport but that was ridiculous. Guy was weeping like a baby and the game wasn't even over yet!

Well, that and the fact that Adam Morrison might be the worst defensive player I've ever seen at the NBA level.

Who saw "The Association" about the Lakers on ESPN?

I loved it.

Yea. Can't hide from the truth..... I forgot the 2nd game was so close

OOO, Looks like a loss for the Lakers today

Mbenga has emergency laser surgery

D.J. Mbenga was hit in the eye at Los Angeles Lakers' practice Saturday and suffered a retinal hole, according to a team spokesman.

Mbenga had emergency laser surgery on his left eye performed by Dr. Ron Gallimore.

The sixth-year veteran, who averaged 2.1 points and 1.8 rebounds per game in the regular season, will miss a minimum of 72 hours, keeping him from the lineup for Game 1 against Oklahoma City on Sunday. He will be reevaluated Tuesday.

Do I dare say I think the Thunder will win this series?

As much as I would love a Cavs/Lakers finals, I have a bad feeling about this first round series. I hope LA is ready because they are going to be very surprised. The Thunder truly do think they are going to win this series.
