But, I'm an old man and getting older every day. I really don't want to throw away the 2024 season before opening day. For a fan I think I have a discerning eye, and I have been generally impressed so far with Freeman, Rocchio, Brennan, and others. With good pitching we are a contender in this division.
We need another SP right now, and unlike last year, there is nobody in Columbus ready to bust on the scene. This requires some creative thinking by the FO.

Brandon Woodruff was non-tendered and then signed a two year deal back with them... I am thinking a deal like that...

So I am guessing Bieber will take a similar contract for 25... Now, which team, who knows, but Cleveland or a west coast team are the likely candidates...
