That would equal 32 wins. COnsidering they have 36, that doesn't seem to work out.
16-9 record before the trade... 20-12 record since... Less yikes...

I'm with you. That said, I don't see any way Dwight would consider going to Chicago. He wants his own stage and a big one. The latest I've heard on that is that he's wavering on the Lakers as his preferred destination -- not sure Kobe will have enough left in the tank to grow with him. Scratch Miami and New York from his list as well. The idea of joining forces with Deron in NJ/Brooklyn, I'm told, is gaining appeal.
I really hope Howard stays in Orlando...
The Brooklyn thing is something that I think Orlando has to watch out for... There's going to be a lot of exciting hype around that and they're on a crash course to meet at the same time...
I wonder where Bucher gets his stuff. . . the "latest" he has heard about Dwight must've come from someone else because the last few times reporters even brought up that talk with Dwight he said how much he wanted to stay. Now, I'm not saying that means he is staying but it contradicts everything ESPN has been trying to push. At this point they're just looking to create new drama since the Melo drama already ended. . . quite badly
That's what was said about the queen for 2 years. I think it all depends on how well Orlando does in the playoffs. I hope Howard stays in Orlando but it wouldn't surprise me if he ends up with the Lakers. You don't know the power of the dark side.

Yet... They will soon enough....Besides DWIll, they don't have much going for them. . .
Yet... They will soon enough....
Orlando is on the brink of becoming a very stale situation and will not have much going for them in the near future... Brooklyn's move is going to infuse life into that situation... This isn't like Seattle going to Oklahoma or Charlotte going to New Orleans-- The excitement that will be generated around Brooklyn should be big and I'm sure the NBA is going to want to see that thrive with potential multiple rivalries... Plus, if they can keep Williams, Dwight will have the opportunity to play with a superior PG and the best player he has yet to play with...
They would have their PG and C in place... It would really speed up their ability to build a quick contender...
Again, if the Magic put themselves in the position to sign both DWill and Howard, the Brooklyn Nyets won't stand a chance. . . I highly doubt Howard's biggest plans would be to play for that other team in New York that's a lot worse
Chances the Magic are in a position to sign both players...less than 1. The Arenas contract pretty much guarantees that.
