The Paul George Safari: LeBron Strikes Back!

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I hear Stephen A Smith when he says Bron doesn't owe us anything but if he leaves us high and dry after all this he's a POS

Lebron won't leave but has no chance of winning another title. He'll get to finals every year but has 0% chance to win title. Warriors will win it for next 3 -5 years. We are signing no one and have been linked with JOSE CALDERON. hahahha. Laughable. Next season is pointless. Coast through a bad bad bad eastern conference until finals and lose 4-0 , 4-1
Hope that was sarcasm..if not..
Is this the mindset you newbies come in with?
The Cavs can tinker with their roster and improve it a bit to improve their defensive weaknesses.
That's what destroyed them in the first 3 games..no stops, no one really stepping up defensively , no communication, no weakside help or fluid rotations to a open player.
Durant had too many layups after players just stood and watched him roll to the hoop.
Cavs need some young lengthy players to play some D.
That gap from GS is not as wide as many think it to be or try to project it.

I wouldn't be shocked if he left, because that's honestly who he is. He joined Miami to win, he came here because we had Kyrie and assets to get Love. The coming home story was a nice plus for him though.

Him leaving would make that story a fairy tale.

Lets not act like he didn't leave a team that went to 4 straight finals to join a team won the lottery 3 of the last 4 years. Drafted Anthony Bennett. Two coaches fired, etc. Not to mention risking playing with guys like Love and Kyrie who never won.

It might not have been a "fairy tale" but he legit wanted to bring a championship to Cleveland. Seems as though some don't give a damn that he did that. POS if he leaves? lol

He left that team after they got smacked by the Spurs, and I will never question what he did to bring a championship to Cleveland, especially with how that series started.

That said, LeBron, like a lot of NBA players, and rightfully so, do what's best for them. That's all I'm saying. We can't acknowledge that as CAVS fans?

Miami was a lock to get back to the finals. Cleveland was a project.
Kyrie and Love were unproven, having never played in the playoffs.
Comming back was actually not in Lebrons best interest.

I still think, we really needed PG to beat the Warriors. I like Kevin Loves skillset with this team and still think hes one of the best PF's in the league with his offensive range but if it came down to it, I would have traded him straight up for PG.

At this point we desperately need to get Carmelo and keep Love. We need another high caliber piece to be added.
We wont beat the Warriors with the same roster.

You hit *Winner* on a post that called him a POS for leaving.

Not dislike. Not care for. But POS. Thats an extreme level of dislike for someone who just brought back a championship to a city that hasn't had one in 50 years. Its ok to be upset, but damn.

Yea I don't know how people can't acknowledge this.

Truth is LeBron would have been better off staying in Miami another year (probably winning because GS was vulnerable and say what you want about Wade he's never missed a finals)

And then coming to Cleveland the following year. That was his best interest. Winning another chip, then letting Kyrie and whoever actually prove their worth without him by making the playoffs and then joining up.

Instead we watched him carry us to 6 games and most of the playoffs by himself. It cost LeBron, but I was thankful for him coming back.

It should be fun to watch the Timberwolves this year. Teague, Butler, Wiggins, Kat
Thats a damn good starting lineup... vs GS will be must watch games

OKC with Westbrook and PG
Houston with CP3 and Harden

So glad the Cavs are in the EAST.

Read his post before that, about LeBron not owing the Cavs anything, that's why I hit winner.

And like I said, I'm glad the Cavs won a title with him coming back, but if he leaves again he leaves again. I'm still a Cavs fan.

It's ok to be a fan of LeBron but damn, no one is perfect.

The west getting stronger might be just what we need.

Their cakewalk to the finals was the worst thing that could have happened to this past season. They play a few 6 game series, a little more tread on the tires...maybe..

If Cleveland makes no moves, LeBron is 100% leaving. Other teams are waiting for this and setting theirselves up. Not only is LAL ready, Houston is as well. If Hoston moves Eric Gordon in a salary dump (which shouldn't be too difficult), they will have Harden signed with 50 million to spend. If they move Anderson in a salary dump (with picks), they will have 60 million. If they move both, they'll have 70 million. Imagine if Melo is bought out and goes there. He'd sign for peanuts while getting paid by NY. Then, they'd still have a ton of money to resign CP3 and bring in LeBron. All that would be left to complete the banana boat would be Wade.

Presti's fallback against losing George for nothing next year could be to trade George to Cleveland which would keep Lebron in Cleveland and prevent that Houston banana boat. Kevin Love would reunite with Westbrook, which could help Presti convince Westbrook to stay with the Thunder.

Gilbert has let us down. His stubbornness let the team down.

You had a good thing going, Dan.

Let's say the timing of Griffin's firing has nothing to do with what's going on right now... you couldn't concoct a more flabbergasting public image disaster if you tried. Not a smart play. Should have cut him loose sooner rather than later.

Now the blame falls squarely on Dan's shoulders fair or not.

Very disappointed right now with how free agency is going.

Pelicans still got Davis and Cousins they are only ones who can give Warriors a real challenge if they could find a competent wing but since that wont happen there screwed but having the top 2 bigs in the league is still a great foundation for the Pelicans gotta count them with OKC and HOU imo
