They'd be in even better shape if they took Drummond and Oladipo.
AND signed LeBron this summer...
Drummond/TT/LeBron/Oladipo/Irving....yikes

Of course, but at this moment Tristan is looking a lot better than Dion, which could make this a bitter pill to swallow.Waiters didnt stop Victor from being drafted just as Thompson didnt stop the Cavs from drafting Bennett.

I'm a big fan of Oladipo's, but to say he'll score as easily as Dion is crazy. He probably has the worst handle of any point guard in the NBA by a wide margin, and his jumper is still very inconsistent. He definitely showed flashes in the preseason, and he's fun to watch, but at the end of the day he shot 41% from the field and 24% from 3...not exactly tearing it up. I'm hard pressed to think of anything Oladipo does better than Waiters on offense (besides offensive rebounding). Defense is another matter, of course.

We'll see by the end of the regular season who is better, but Oladipo was fairly efficient in his last year at Indiana. Hopefully Dion can really get going and put this to rest.
