Theoretically Ante Zizic

Please let this happen!!! I've had enough of the switching and don't think I can handle 81 more games.
This roster will continue to switch imo. Yes the paint defense suffers for it somewhat, but without it you'll have to rely on Z to be able to guard more mobile bigs on the perimeter than he is likely capable of doing. I like what I have seen from him in stretches offensively he's got great hands and a nice skillset, but he can't defend perimeter oriented bigs, and I don't see his interior defense as much of an upgrade to either of the centers ahead of him in the rotation.

Ante Zizic has the basic fundamentals of the game down pat and really played well tonight. It's the lack of speed and recovery on the defensive side of the ball that makes it difficult to have him out there an extended period of time. #Cavs

When Nance comes back, I bet Lue puts him back to the bench. It is a shame because he sets great screens, has great hands, soft touch around the rim, and even can find open players.
He should be the starting center and would be a great fit next to Love so Love can play more the elbow and not the post. In fact he even played so well last year that he was 23 PER.

It's not only that they don't pass; he doesn't even try to post up anymore. That is the coach's orders for sure.
Why would you post so many other players, and not your best post up player? especially off the bench were your .PPP is that much lower. I'd wager that Ante post shot attempt is better/more efficient than anything we can get from our second unit, and perhaps even better than a lot of second units.
TT gets a handful of post touches and opportunuties to become a playmaker and you have Zizic not even getting plays called for him. What's the point of playing him then? he doesn't get passes in the PnR and he doesn't get easy post touches.
Now, I don't want it to become TT vs Zizic, but it just makes absolutely no sense why we feature TT on offense that much more.
As in hue. Lue needed to go. Your starting over. New culture. Means a new coach. Would looked for a young coach Our own brad Stevens.

Fair point, but have you seen Lue's contract ? I dont blame Gilbert for not firing him.
Lue aint going anywhere folks... Gilbert will ride with him win or lose and you can already see Lue is mixing up rotations 10 deep. Our biggest hurdle is the need for patience as Lue takes the time to mix up rotations and let everyone get used to each other in multiple rotations. .He will also divert from that if a player is hot or outplaying whomever would have replaced him because they are still trying to win games.
I fully expect to see more of Nwaba getting put into the rotations to see how that goes to boost the defense in the next few games as well.

Didn't watch the game but based on the box scores as expected the White Wilt is back on playing garbage minutes only now that Nance is back... I guest we can just watch him play meaningful spot minutes again only if the bigs get injured or if the Cavs totally give up and go full tank mode

They should fire Longabardi and see if Lue keeps his promise of Quitting if that happens. Free Ante!
I think as long as Lue is dedicated to continuing to build this rosters stamina & ability to switch on everything it means unfortunately Zizic is the odd man out given his mobility is sub par compared to the other 2 despite having a better post game.
