Trade Rumor(s)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Very fair point.

I think Andy for Morris, perhaps with a promise of an amicable buyout, is essentially a fair deal for Phoenix. PJ Tucker for the TPE is perhaps a bit different. Phoenix seems motivated to dump Morris coupled with an asset. I think this would largely boil down to what Phoenix can get for Tucker and what it would cost to ship out Morris. Andy and the TPE might not be a bad deal.

I think you have to be careful about taking on a tucker/morris situation. While you get a talent upgrade its not possible for them both to play significant minutes. I think the Cavs want to go small in today's nba and they should, that means 15-20 mpg for tucker without the expense of anybody else.

After that Blatt would have to chose minutes between love/morris and you got yourself a dangerous longjam situation with 2 players that are mentally fragile. I am saying this just assuming TT continues to be our main rim protector which he should get his minutes.

Why would we trade Mozgov now when his value is at its absolute lowest? We're not going to get anything comparable in return. I'd rather stick it out and hope Timo improves.

And I really would prefer not to give up Varejao. The guy has been through some shitty years here in Cleveland and multiple injuries (which he can't control). But he hasn't moped or complained at all, and when he's healthy, I think he can be useful off the bench in limited minutes. Andy deserves to win a title with us.

Does a contract holdout that caused him to sit out the first part of the season count?

Guys.. Let's stop with the Love for xyz trades.

Peace and harmony. Love.. Compassion.

p.s.
Bob, c'mon bro.

Uhhh...if you read the post you'd realize that I was pointing out why it's not even feasible to talk about. Love does too many things for the team that would essentially be impossible to replace. Just pointing out that it doesn't make any sense.

We'd obviously love to get rid of Andy as opposed to the TPE or Moz, but Andy has 10 mil guaranteed for next season. Why would a team want to spend 10 mil on a guy that won't play?

They'd be getting rid of a cancer and replacing it the kind of quality, veteran leadership that that locker room desperately needs. They'd also be paying out $10M for one season instead of $24M over 3 years.

That being said, I understand what you mean.

I see, perhaps I misunderstood. Your post seemed to suggest you'd be open to trading Love for Oladipo/Harris. My bad if that isn't what you were saying.

No worries. I re-read what I wrote. My point totally got lost somewhere along the line. I just deleted it because it made no sense...haha

Thread is a dumpster fire.
Preach it!

We have a stacked team. We just need to get Kyrie physically healthy and back in tune with the offense, Moz mentally healthy, Shump in the starting lineup, and grease this bitch for the finals.

Also, keep Andy on ice. He's a big boy. Sit him down and remind him of the last 5 years where he did nothing but heal--it was all for the 2016 playoffs.

Fuck Trading Andy! P.J. fucking ..Tucker This dude is a problem, fast forward
2:28 seconds into 1st video is our (Draymond) stopper book it...
https://youtu.be/vn_3gco6nqI
https://youtu.be/4iGwgQwmN-Q,
Neither Mozzy or Kev can bang with Aldridge,Duncan,West Green.
Stop talking about potential projections for guys based on what other people in the league or teams have said. Markief is welcomed here by our guys? That is all the approval I need. Tyson fucking Chandler... Dallas don't beat the heat in 2011 without him. A true rim protector and he aint puss. Hopefully we can negotiate a wink wink buyout for Chandler on Suns end. Shit im in Phoenix AZ right now typing lol.Grammar police,do it moving. Were not tough as the Spurs. Were not as efficient as the warriors, but if we can at least match up and play Defense? This is Cleveland! Haters gone hate, some will talk shit then post my idea later like they thought of the it watch.....Fuck Mozzy. He to soft.

P.J. Tucker=Tough Shed
Chandler=Aldrige,Duncan nuetralizer

What trade?

How'd you do all this without trading Andy?

Why are we paying a 33 year old Tyson Chandler an infinite sum of money until 2019?

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=zy68qpy Bro I just reread your post @gourimoko Your right we cant get Tyson without dealing Andy, but damn if we can get Suns to buyout on a wik ,wink deal with all in agreement.Shit gets really really. All our needs will be met!

I hear you man...

I think Tyson is definitely an upgrade over Mozgov (at least, right now); but for how long? And his contract runs until 2019.

Would Phoenix want to do such a deal? Fuck yeah they would! :chuckle: But we shouldn't, because we'd be paying Chandler $13M for the next 3.5 years. In fact, that might be the worst contract in the NBA; so I don't think the Cavs would make a move like that.

Take Tyson out of the deal, and just go with Tucker and Morris and I think you've got a solid plan.
