Tristan Thompson

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
This is going to have an extremely bad effect on the team heading into the playoffs. Tristan is not a good player already and is going to get substantially worse now that his head won't be in the game. Every player needs to be focused on the game, not the Kardashian circus, especially the new younger players who never been to the playoffs. Now add all this to the fact that it could make a contract that's already difficult to move impossible.

Certain people, including IBWT, have been telling us all season that TT's contract is not a problem to move, that other teams are willing to trade for this clown. What I want to know is, what other NBA team, specifically, is willing to pay $17 million/year to bring the TT/Kardashian circus to town? Without dumping another impossible contract for a sucky player in exchange? Name the teams!

I love Gudaitis...going to be a heck of a role player.

Gudaitis is 24 and still not as good as Zizic who is 21, and we can't even find room for Zizic to play because we have great centers like Jeff Green and Tristan Thompson playing ahead of him. So how are we ever going to use Gudaitis? This team...

I think it wasnt fully revealed how badly he had regressed at that point. Unless he is packaged with the Brooklyn pick no way he gets moved. I don't think anyone would even want him then

not going to go to the trouble of necro-ing old posts but IBWT was telling us very late in the season, actually after the trade deadline that TT's contract was tradeable, that there would have been takers for him at the deadline but the Cavs didn't want to trade (why?). If he has inside info I'd love to know whether this is actually true, as it would give me more hope for the future.

There's not one single GM who would give two fucks about TT's love life. Not a single one.

After next season, his becomes a massive expiring contract and we will have no problem moving it at that time.

There are a lot of reasons to dislike TT, but if we're rebuilding next year we should fucking love his contract. It's about to be a great asset.

My only joy from today's game was that Tristan did not play a single meaningful minute.

I will give Lue credit for that.

LMAO man.

Next think you know, Lue has TT start in place of Jeff Green for Game-2.

I don't even TT could put up a worse stat in of zero points, 4 rebs, and one assist in 27 minutes. At least you put TT in the middle to battle for rebounds and let Love roam around to get rebounds where he is best.

Nance/TT at center and Green back to his bench role would be a big adjustment for Lue. Zizic would be the proper adjustment to insert into the rotation over TT but that will never happen. Cedi needs his chance to defend Oladipo.

Have you forgotten that TT had the historic 0/0/0/0/0 game few weeks back? :D

Haha...but was it in 27 minutes? The fact is we lack depth at both forward positions that the front office or ownership refuse to address because of luxury tax. Maybe we don't find an impact player in the buyout market but the lack of trying was a total oversight.
