Tristan matches up well against a variety of Centers and power forwards that Nance doesn't.

Al Horford, Myles Turner, either Jonas or Serge Ibaka, ETC

Bigger 5's/ Tristan can body up and attack them physically.

so statements like there are no matchups Tristan is suited for ….. is not only shit posting... it is perpetuating a false narrative that the starting Center for the 2016 Cavaliers Championship team has no value to the team.

Especially when he has demonstrated his leadership abilities on the defensive end , has a tremendous work ethic and motor and has largely contained opponents big men including shutting them down when it matters in the playoffs.


Tristan was a key components in saving the Cavs from a game 7 exit in Indiana . He also was a key cog in taking down the Celtics .
 
Garbage man when you have an elite level talent makes some sense. LEBron can overcome the problems Tristan creates on offense and Tristan can make up for with his rebounding.

On a team that needs more threats because they don't have LeBron...start Zizic. Thompson looked dreadful tonight. So start the young guy and see how it looks. We aren't contending. What's the harm?

I never thought I’d ever say this, EVER, but TT could be a culture guy at a pivotal time in our young guys’ development. Yes, the philandering clown off the court who can barely dribble could lead.

He plays the game the right way and isn’t a bitch. You have vets like Korver, Hill, and Smith around but TT brings a grittiness and has really seen it all at this point. He may have delusions of grandeur (“this year I become a superstar”) but I think every dribble off the foot brings him closer to reality.

Tonight we grinded against an elite team (for the eastern conference anyway) and it kept us in it for a while. I want our guys to play like this all year. TT is a grinder and I want him around. Nance will need a spell A LOT. Zizic is an enigma until proven otherwise. TT is an Ironman and I think he’s a good example on the court.

If Zizic hits his stride and our guys mature and we get a good offer...ship him. But I think he’s where he needs to be right now.

He is so easy to defend now and I don't think the 14 second shot clock reset helps anything. Just double or triple him if he gets a rebound. He isn't explosive enough to get a shot up or when get a pass out anymore.

He can be on the team if Lue stops playing him 25 a night and starting him.

He turned the ball over 4 or 5 times tonight and he barely touches it on offense and no one guards him outside of the restricted area. How do you turn the ball over that much under those circumstances?
