Cleaningtheglass.com had him in the 75th percentile last year among "combo" guards in points per 100 shots at 117.7. He was in the 89th percentile in assists per usage rate and the 83rd percentile in turnover percentage. Those are impressive numbers!

His effective field goal percentage was in the 74th percentile. He was especially effective at the rim (73% made which put him in the 96th percentile). He hit 48% of his corner 3's, putting him in the 86th percentile. He wasn't as accurate at the non-corner 3's (34% and 45th percentile). He's an awesome foul shooter at 92.7%.

Watching the highlights of the Cavs game last year where he led them to a win going 9-for-13 from the field with 8 assists, it's clear he's good ballhandler who can shoot 3's, floaters, and mid-range jumpers. He made a variety of shots in that game, including a layup against a big.

I really like this pickup. The additions of Strus and Jerome to back up Garland and Mitchell allow LeVert to focus 100% on playing the 3 since we won't need his help at the 2.

This was my favorite sneaky pickup of the offseason and I think he's really going to help us a lot more than people realize. All you have to do is take a look at how Warriors fans took the news of us snatching him up and that tells the story. I'm also assuming their front office felt similarly. If they weren't totally capped in every sense of the word, there's no way they let us snag Jerome.

I was definitely of the mind Neto should have played more last year and definitely should've played against the Knicks as a way to pressure Brunson full court and make him expend energy, but Jerome is an upgrade from Neto. Even with stubborn JB, I don't see how he doesn't see the floor.

Not only is he an excellent shooter and has a variety of floaters and middies, he has excellent vision and is 6-foot-5. He can easily play the 1 or the 2 and will allow Garland to play more off-ball.

Loved this pickup. Warriors fans are not happy also, which is always a bonus.

What I like when I watch this guy is how well he handles the ball in traffic, and how he seems to keep his dribble while maneuvering around the paint. He reminds me of Doncic, how he puts guys on his back and keeps them there while finding ways to get his floater off in space.

Wow. I have never heard of this guy and did find out about us signing him just now.

But I can quickly see some Austin Reaves in his game. Not saying he will ever be as good, but very impressive highlights and stats from last season.

Jerome brings lots of toughness. His dad was very strict with him - taught him not to give up, got to be physical and be tough mentally. His dad spent a lot of time with him in the gym including defensively. Growing up in NY, he played in the streets and he brought some swag and he had to deal with physicality during that time.

Perhaps he could be one of those bad hombres.

That day cemented JBB as a bottom five coach in the league. If I remember right someone put a grand down for the Cavs to win thinking it was free money, oof!
