Tyronn Lue has been fired

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Everything I have seen and heard makes me think Lue has Lebron's full support

If LeBron were to lose with a guy like Calipari at the helm, it would be a lot harder to can Calipari and/or blame Calipari than if a guy like Lue is playing for LeBron.

You get the idea.

Too true. He has found the perfect stunned looking scapegoat

Still waiting.

What do you guys think Lue is doing right now at this exact moment when you read this.

What he’s not doing is thinking about his young players. Or aware that they even exist. I can’t wait to see how he fucks up when there are literally no veterans on our team to play AND we’re TRYING to lose. Seems foolproof. But Ty Lue gives no fucks about any idiot proof strategy

You guys seem to know an awful lot about the workings of Lue’s mind.

I think he might be relieved that the pressure is off and that the best player on his team going forward might run called plays some day. I think Lue likes player development and might seem like a better coach to many fans once the “win now” craziness is over.

Yep, appearances can be deceiving at times. It's easy to seem like a better coach when you don't have to stress about actually delivering anything of importance.

And if you are right, what it would say about him is that he can't handle the pressure of coaching a quality team with legitimate title aspirations... it would say that he's not a championship level coach... it would demonstrate that he can only function when he's not being held to high standards... it would mean that he's a beta just like Durant.

It's easy to "coach" when you know you have no chance of competing for a championship, when you know that you are only being asked to get your ragtag group of young guys to "just play better" or "get more stops" or "be aggressive". Which is why I suspect that you are 100% correct in your assessment of Lue. He will "seem" to be a better coach; but he won't actually be a better coach.

Anyone have The video/gif of Chris Rock from New Jack Hustler smoking cracker in his underwear in the corner?

That’s how I’m picturing anxiety Lue.
