One of those things is a judgement call. The other was a blatant screw up by a guy who compared himself to a fight pilot.

Blatt's points from plays after time outs were below average at best. He showed himself to be unable to relate to NBA players or sports journalists. The quotes he made suggested he had no idea what his short coming were or what was required by him to do his job. His work ethic was poor, sometimes failing to show up to the gym on time. Behind closed doors Blatt was the laughing stock of the league. If any thing ruined Blatt, it was that he was spoiled by his over seas success and that prevented him from seeing what he was doing wrong in the NBA.

Lue might look funny, but the guy works hard, gets "buy-in" from most of his players, is generally well respected around the league, and he's going to be around for at least one more year, Lebron or no Lebron.

The whole trust us behind the scenes thing is hard to swallow when the guy had a much better winning percentage than Lue. Lue has made fewer mistakes that Blatt? No way.

If there are actual incidences where he fucked up spill it please . People have been dancing around something. Did he have a fight with Lebron?

Fucking Lue didn't call a timeout in the fucking finals when he should have. That actually happened not almost happened. It also cost the game didn't almost cost the game.

Wtf you can't use the timeout thing anymore after 2018 finals game 1. Who didn't know if they had a timeout then? LeBron James. Pretending player and coaches don't lose track of timeouts is not true. That incident with Blatt was confusing as fuck they used 4 timeouts in a row.

I'm really not trying to be the Lue apologists lol, but I think you can make a case that Lue has gotten more out of Love than Blatt did. Kevin Love was really marginalized under Blatt. With that said, I do think Blatt is a better basketball coach than Ty Lue. Blatt does have much more experience as a Head Coach than Ty Lue, so... I think the main problem with Blatt was that he was unable to relate to star players. That's kind of a big deal in the NBA.

Managing egos is a big part of coaching at this level and seems to actually be a strength of our current head coach. If he can improve his weaknesses, then he will be a very good coach for a long time.

We are still waiting for Lue to do some basic things like figure out rotations, change the lineup when it is obviously not working, making changes in game, playing Lebron so many minutes. It seems like Blatt had fewer things to fix.

He was also a rookie head coach and that was hard and he should have had more time to adjust. No one knew Lebron was coming back when he was hired. I dunno maybe he really was lazy or something. He took the wrong route to relating to the players, but what was more likely that he would figure it out after some time or that Lue will improve on all of those other things.

2015 wasn't the most talented team 2016 was. Blatt did more with less. I think the team he took to the finals would have won game one and 3 this year in the finals. That's just my opinion.

No way Blatt plays Hood or Clarkson over Cedi. He would have loved his defense and intangibles. He would have loved his size, and he was never afraid to bench vets like KL when it was the right decision. He loved Moz, and he took him out when it wasn't working and played Tristan.

He had a deep bench, wanted to run, and yet played his players in 12-15 minute bursts. That is just mindnumbing. He would play Korver at 36 12 straight minutes running around screens. Steph Curry doesn't do that.

Laughing stock of the league lol any sources to back that up? You do remember Kerr badly wanted him as his assistant coach before we hired him. The man was fucked over by Lebron plain and simple, lets not forget we were 31/11 with lebron playing the lowest minutes of his CAREER the guy had shump and other trash players playing great basketball. Lue is is terrible I'm tired of people making excuses for him. Since he took over our team has had no diciplin, Rodney Hood a guy who was averaging 16 points became almost unplayable, Green had the greenlight to chuck dumbass 3s Tt became unplayable, Jr became unplayable. He let isaiah bad mouth him to the media with no consequence, let Wade bully Kev in the locker room. I could go on all day bringing up more shitty points about this, I honestly think its a shame cause I do believe Lue is very fit to be an assitant coach but as a head coach hell no.

Blatt is 10000s better I would debate anybody on this. Can anybody even tell me what system weve been running the last 2 years?
