Tyronn Lue has been fired

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Clarkson makes himself look good when he's on the floor. The problem is that he makes everyone he plays with worse.

He's basically a playground player. Hopefully, some other team sees him scoring, doesn't pay enough attention to his overall effect on the floor, and decides he's a player they want.

In some ways he reminds me of a better version of Jordan Crawford. Jordan can also score the basketball but has zero concept of how to make it work on a NBA winning level.

There might be a wee bit of Ricky Davis to his game as well. A tease of talent with unpleasant results often.

Dude can isolate and score though and that SHOULD have value somehow/somewhere? Maybe just not here.

A team with talent and a coach who can see and diagnose which version of Clarkson he will get that day. If he's terrible, then no worries because he's just a luxury player. Lue failed to realize this last year and he buried us in many games. He's one dimensional solely on one end of the court and provides absolutely nothing else outside of scoring in isolation. He should NEVER bring the ball up or even ATTEMPT to set up a play. Clarkson seems hell bent on making sure called plays fail so he can play hero ball.

Remember when Lue was hired and he was said to be a 'defensive coach.'

Good times, good times.

You almost need an all defense second team that can maybe a shoot a little with Clarkson. No one is getting the ball, so may as well load up with defenders.

His defense has been good in the playoffs, so what is up? Why can't he have a good defensive team in the reg season? I really don't get it.

Dan Gilbert overheard that Lue told LeBron to "shut the f*ck up" during a film session.

Yeah, the first half offense looks like it was designed to get Hood 15 foot jumpers. Thompson had more shot attempts than Love and Love had zero attempts in the 3rd quarter. It's bad enough that the defense is a mess but if they don't score they become unwatchable.

Can't believe this is the same coach who won Coach of the Playoffs award

Who gets fired first, Hue or Lue? I say both Due! (do) :chuckle:
