Visiting the Q (from a land down under)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Awesome for simmy that Lebron played.

Had a good view of your seats. Looked over a few times to make sure you were having a good time. Here's my stalker pic.

Haha dude, that's awesome! There I am! Navy blue Kyrie, glasses, sitting front row next to the asshole leaning all the way forward lol.

Are you here for the weekend Simmy or leaving tomorrow?

I'm leaving tomorrow man, 3:30 :( my next trip here (may even be playoffs) will be for longer though.

I'd love to catch up with everyone on my next trip!

Can someone circle him please? I can't find 117 :) in this pic! Oh, and a pic of where the hell Waldo was would be nice, too... couldn't find that bastard either.

I know, it's not 117....

I'm an idiot lol see what over excitement does! In my defense, the seat numbers were confusing on the ticket! The "1" for row 1 was like right beside the the seat number!

The wife took a few pics of Waldo. He was sitting a few rows behind the Kings announcers. Pretty hilarious.

Nice seats, except for the tard next to you. So glad we weren't catfished....

The thing with floor seats and the great seats around the floor is that a lot of them are corporate seats and dudes just take clients/friends to impress them (I've been lucky enough to be one of those friends a few times). More often than not they aren't hardcore fans, and often they aren't even fans at all. It's unfortunate, but the amount of people who can afford the seats at those prices is pretty damn limited and squeezes out the best fans closest to the court.

We got in with no problem and took our seats - just blown away by our view.

I think it's an amazing experience to sit that close. I don't get seats there often for the other reasons you mentioned but it's remarkable to see what it means to be an NBA player up close. Ridiculous athleticism. Plus noticing the stuff that players and coaches do when the cameras aren't paying attention is very cool as well.

I'm just glad you got to see a healthy roster, minus AV, and that you caught a win. It's hard to beat that.

I haven't posted in this thread until now but I have been reading it and just wow.

I also live in Melbourne and even though we have never met in person (the amount of times we have tried to meet at the Collingwood games is actually funny now when I think about it haha), just from my experiences talking to him on social media for years, I know Simmy is a genuinely top bloke.

Honestly, he deserves all of this. So happy for you dude and I know that one day, I'll be visiting Cleveland also!! Watching the Cavs play at Staples a few years back was unreal but the Q will be a completely different experience!!

And even though I'm jealous as hell of you right know haha, honestly couldn't be happier for you.

And you saw a win and some sick highlights as well!

Simmy, I just wanna say you're incredible, what a great fan.

Thank you, man. Even though I'm thousands of miles away on most days, I really do "bleed wine and crave gold" just like any regular Clevelander does!

Yeah I thought that might be the case. Because the prices are pretty hefty and it did look wild on the upper floors - felt kinda uncomfortable applauding each point while nobody else was paying attention lol. I even caught people who had floor seats leaving early. I mean, c'mon!

Thank you Lukey boy! Pencil it down, mate - you'll be next in a few years. It's just something you need to do - and it'll take some time to sink in (I'm still all a little stunnes honestly!) but it truly has been the greatest experience of my life. I'm so glad that I've done it!
