But, I guess a good place to start is what has happened throughout the league and where that leaves us. The Brad Miller deal was a bad thing for us, in that we had hopes of getting Camby and Salmons.. We were hoping trade attempts on Miller would fall flat and we would end up sitting there waiting to pounce. So, with that trade going down, it ended any need for them to move Camby, and that ended that.

It seems to me that the inference here is that the following deal was being discussed:
Cleveland receives: Marcus Camby, John Salmons
Sacramento receives: Wally Szczerbiak
LA Clippers receives: Brad Miller
That wouldn't have been a bad deal, though I'm not sure LA would have done Camby-for-Miller.
It's also possible, maybe probable, that W+G mistyped and meant Miller in the post above when he said Camby. I'm not sure.

That sounds interesting. I don't see how LAC would have done that, though. I'm interested in what that big trade was that W&G said fell through and put a cloud over the GM office...
the real question is who would we have inquired about from the bulls roster after the trade they made????

Larry Hughes? :chuckles:
