It was Jewish night at the Q :chuckles:

Honestly, I have no idea

I wish we had never had any interest in Redd, then we wouldn't be stuck talking about the entire team all the time.

Luke matched Sasha in 17 less minutes of action :neener:

Yeah I was down there too, it was funny at one point when good was at the stripe and Ronnie Duncan said something like "The Package at the line shooting two." I leaned over to my buddy and said hey I want to be The Package! Duncan did do alot better than the Memphis game overall. Did anyone at the game see the Disco Dancing Beer Guy? Holy crap that was funny! I know it was set up, but definitely entertaining. The Cavalier girls were skimpier dressed than I've ever seen them. I could imagine moms putting their hands over their kids' eyes. Not that I'm complaining  They had some issues with the scoreboard in the first half- couldn't see player stats until the 2nd half, we didn't know how many points Bron had. They were chucking those taco bell mini basketballs and I made the one handed grab out into the aisle (we were way up top, so it was dicey) and took out the lady in the row in front of me. Good times though. Anyways, the team looked great, a little sloppy with the ball at times, but not bad for hardly working on offense much. They'll have to clean it up a bit to keep it close with the champs. Overall a great night, very entertaining all around.

Great solid start by the team. We need to get some confidense early with this team having so many new faces. The Hornets did us a favour by winning last night which took away some of there early season hunger. The team played unselfishly with every player contributing.

* LeBron obviously starred and put the game in the bag early.
* Gooden settled into his role as 4th option in the starting 5.
* Ilgauskas made his usual early impact.
* Snow controlled things perfectly.
* Hughes was solid defensively and started a nice relationship with Eric.
* Donyell was huge in every way.
* Damon showed why he is best suited off the bench in a great scoring role.
* Sasha proved to be the perfect role player to sub between LeBron and Larry.
* Henderson played his role which is all we want.
* Hamilton and Jackson did their thing in garbage time.

Coach Brown 1-0!

I am really looking forward to seeing what Hughes can do. I can't wait to watch a game to see him work or check the box score when he has a game where goes off and wins it for us. Everyone played great, but I am hoping Hughes can do so much more.

If Gooden can just do what he did tonight every night, I would want him back with us next year no doubt. I want him to be a "10 point, 12 rebound, 2.5 blocks, high shooting % in 30 minutes" guy so much. If he did that, I would demand Gilbert give him his pay check. Gooden endears himself to me every time he plays.

I'd like to inform all fans in attendance that due to the 100+ score by your Cleveland Cavaliers all fans in attendance will receiver a free chalupa!

Blasphemy! Pure, utter blasphemy! They had it plastered all over the Q alright. But I drove up to my neighborhood Taco Bell... and they said THEY WEREN'T DOING IT YET. THEY WEREN'T DOING IT YET!?!?!??!?!?!??!
I was disappointed, dejected, and there's nothing I could do about it. So I got a crunch wrap and went home in defeat.

Great win tonight. I am very pleased with what I have seen so far, even though it was one game against an inferior opponent.

The bench was phenomenal. Z got us off to the hot start, we shot well, we played unselfish ball and LeBron was...........ridiculous.

The unsung hero of this game was definitely Drew Gooden. I thought that he played great. That is what he needs to do every night. He will get more points in the future, but he was a manchild on the boards. Hughes showed that he can make an impact without scoring. I have seen him play before, but I didn't realize how fast he was.

The Spurs are going to be a great test for us. However, we can't get jump shot happy. The key to staying with the Spurs for 48 minutes to have a chance to win is getting Z involved. The offense has to run through Z, especially in the early going.

Finally, I loved the way we were attacking the ball-handler in the pick-n-roll. I'd rather have other teams' big men popping out for jump shots than watching the guard take it to the hole everytime. Parker must have had 20 uncontested lay-ups in the two games against us last season.

These next three road contests are huge in the early going. If we can take two out of three, we'll be on our way to making a nice run at home in the coming weeks.

I wouldn't creep up to the ledge just yet.

San Antonio is by far and away the best team in the NBA and its at their place. Don't start freaking out if we lose...

wow we really did it up last night. LeBron had a amazing game but that wasnt really a surprise or anything, i was more impressed with Marshalls performance.

San Antonio doesn't really care about season games though, which is nice. They won't be going full speed right now, which might give us a chance to take win from them.

But, the good news is, even though they are far and away the team to beat, with our roster, we can compete with them, which we couldn't say last year.
