Week #16 - Browns @ Packers 3:30pm Christmas

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I think Harris played pretty well at center today. He was overpowered in pass pro a few times but he did well run blocking and we didn't have a single bad snap that I recall. Hance, OTOH, is simply overmatched at tackle.

Forget the shitty recievers and their route running.........

......

Baker should be better with timing.
Exactly.

Step up and make a play as the QB. He’s had multiple opportunities in multiple games and he’s failed each and every time.

Can’t run
Can’t accurately throw
Can’t read a defense
Can’t check down

As a Browns fan I would feel confident trading him to a team within the division and playing against him… Literally send him to Pittsburgh to replace Ben and I’ll look forward to those 2 games every season

Pretty wild to think that even with all of these injuries, COVID, and shit play by 6, we'd be in first place if the refs didn't collectively close their eyes on that last INT and the Chargers OPI non-call.
Assuming we would win if we got that holding call is a BIG assumption, I still think it’s more likely we would have still lost

This might be an unpopular opinion but it was hard for me to be mad about that defensive performance in Lambeu tbh. We nicked Arod a bit; Adams definitely got his but our secondary is in bad shape right now; considering the circumstance I can’t accuse them the reason why we lost or a significant reason

You need only be mad at two people for this train wreck of a season: Baker and Kevin.

Baker is a fringe starter and Stefanski talks like Tarzan but in-game coaches like Jane. It’s hard to see a path to contention with these two.

This game was put up or shut up time for Mayfield. The opportunities were there and he showed who he is with his repeated failure to make positive plays. I'm done with him.

Good luck with that, he is going to be here one more year. He will 90% likely given the chance to prove it was injuries, there really isnt a solution outside of Watson clearing his name and giving them 3 firsts for him.

We'll see. I agree chances of a viable replacement option for Baker are slim and none. But Berry might figure something out. If not then we'll have to tough out another season and hope Mayfield can become someone different from what he's shown us. I hate that thought after watching him shit down both legs yesterday.

Ravens used first round picks on WRs in 2019 and '21. The Bengals used a first round pick (#5) this year and second round pick (#33) last year on WRs. We need to do more than 3rd and 6th rounders on the position if we don't want our offense to be one dimensional. I understand why we didn't prioritize the position in the past two drafts but we can't afford to do so again.

Some won't see it this way, but the Browns used a 2019 1st round pick on a WR when they traded it for Beckham.

I agree. I thought our wide receiver room was fine coming into this season. I was wrong. Beckham isn't what he used to be and it isn't just here. DPJ has regressed instead of stepping up and Landry has been injured and sort of blah. The whole unit needs redone and we're behind the curve at it compared to our divisional competition.
