Week #16 - Browns @ Packers 3:30pm Christmas

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
“Our coach is an idiot and deserves heat because he isn’t willing to coach like his starting QB is incompetent.” is one of the worst takes in the history of this forum.

Players have to execute. That’s all there is to it. If a play results in someone wide open, it was a good play call.

The Houston game this year has officially passed last year's 49ers-Jets "concrete field" game as the most pyrrhic victory in NFL history.

I think Baker will wake up enough for 9-8 (no, seriously,) and I also think most of us will rear-view-mirror this one in a few days, but this year being a complete washout for Baker can be traced back to that tackle.

I’m just sick of this shit.

Baker Mayfield is a starting QB in the NFL that thinks he deserves a massive contract extension. He’s made over 50 starts. He’s not some rookie fuckwad. He has to be able to make simple football plays. No more “well Stefanski should know better than to trust his QB!” bullshit.

If Baker can just execute a simple pitch and catch to Njoku OR Landry, this is going for first down easily.

That is more valuable than running Chubb for 5 yards and that’s why Stefanski called the fucking play.

Execute better. No excuses.

Man I want to barf.

That Landry throw is a way bigger gain than Njoku.

I honestly don't think he could see Landry there from behind his linemen. If he was in shotgun he probably could.

Have you not been trumpeting all year that Baker is incompetent? Then why keep giving him the keys and watching him crash?

I agree that Baker sucks. But if somebody proves to me that they suck and I keep asking them to do what they’ve repeatedly demonstrated they can’t do, at what point do I deserve criticism?

Either make a change at the position or adjust your game plan. The run was dominating. Dominating. Baker was garbage. Yet we choose to sink or swim with the garage QB instead of the run game.

I don’t see how anybody could argue that isn’t poor coaching.

Njoku was open going to the sideline and open. I think it's the right choice of reciever. Baker led him but left it.... Short?

Does the NFL do a 2 minute referee report like the NBA?

You do realize that if you run, and it doesn’t work, you’re eating a time out and back in the exact same situation?

YPC is a great stat, but it’s not a guarantee. That first down throw, Green Bay expected run, and we got two wide open routes.

I love you bob, but the lack of accountability Baker stans have for him and his play is incomprehensible to me..

Rodgers is playing with Davante Adams and a bunch of JAGs.. Lazard was undrafted, Lewis is a blocking TE who can barely move and Deguara is a glorified H-BACK who has 19 career receptions..
Yet he’s somehow able to throw 3 TDs and 0 INTs..

Browns WRs aren’t the best group in the league, but pointing the blame at the group is a scapegoat for a consistently inaccurate QB..

Take away Adams and Rodgers threw for 78 yards and one touchdown.

Think I gotta take Berry off the avatar. Dude failed at the WR room and Kicker and its rearing it's ugly head the most.

Because you had to stick with Baker going in

Now him and Stefanski can find their guy
So when does the blame shift to the QB, or does every other person in the organization come first?

What I don’t get: What in the WR room was their to address?

OBJ and Landry were your starters coming in, Higgins was resigned as a Baker clutch, DPJ looked ready to take the next step and Schwartz was drafted in the 3rd round to provide a vertical threat.. Many in here said this was one of the deepest spots on the team and around the league..

Bengals over Ravens and Josh Johnson
Chiefs over Steelers
Chiefs over Bengals
Rams over Ravens
Browns stop pissing down their legs

Unfortunately have more confidence in the first four than #5
