Bulls, Suns? Probably.
Hawks? Maybe.
Knicks, Kings? Nah.
IBWT, you keep talking about the Knicks as if they're clearly better than the Nets. I just don't get it. Have you taken a few minutes to watch the Knicks this year? They are absolutely worse than the Nets.
Because they got blown out by OKC, lost a close game to Detroit(fringe playoff team, has looked really good early), and are losing to Boston badly tonight? That's a 50-60 win team, a 45 win team, and a fringe playoff team,
I think you are giving the Nets way too much credit for having competitive games early on with the bottom of the league.
I think you may be ignoring the directions, coaching and talent level of both teams.
And I don't mean any offense by that. Hell, I'm surprised. You know first-hand, and have told us, just how effed up things are with the Knicks. I'm not sure why you aren't lower on them.
Because overall I think the Knicks clearly have a lot more talent. Zingis is a stud. Dude was out of shape badly a few weeks ago and now looks like hes ready to take a leap.
Maybe Russell ends up a lot better than I thought but I really think the Nets, much like their decent start last year, are fools gold only competing because of who they're playing.
Would you guys trade Brooklyn their pick for Russell?

Nets have played Indy, Atlanta, and the Magic.....
